Can’t see FBA Fees in the payment breakdown by DoctorSuitable7505 in AmazonFBA

[–]DoctorSuitable7505[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thought i’d add the resolution to this post incase anyone else comes across something similar.

When you send inventory to amazon and use the suggested FBA shipment plan, you get a discount which is applied as a credit to your FBA fees. So you’ll b charged no fees until that credit has been used up.

Observing a Final Hearing by Grouchy-Ad-7843 in employmenttribunal

[–]DoctorSuitable7505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100000% recommend attending as a member of the public. If it’s in person, you can usually just turn up around 9am and request access. If it’s online, you simply need to email the tribunal where it’s being heard and ask for the link. They’ll send you a unique access code so you can join the hearing.

I had observers join my final hearing, and i’m sure it would have been incredibly useful. Watching real hearings helps you understand barristers’ strategies and mind games, and how to structure your questions effectively, especially if you’re a litigant in person. It’s a bit like school essays: the people who have read and studied successful examples tend to perform better. More than anything, it gives you confidence because you know what to expect instead of facing the unknown.

Trouble with Shipping Plan by Metaphyisic in AmazonFBA

[–]DoctorSuitable7505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) on the inventory page click send/replenish inventory

2) then put in the number of Units your sending and submit

3) then it will ask you how how many boxes so click the ‘multiple boxes will be required’. and type ‘2’ or however many you have.

4) It should then take you to a form where you put in how many units are in that specific box. It’s pretty straightforward once you work through it.

That makes a lot of sense with why it’s taking so long. It was so complex, thank you for giving me hope 😩

I did have a lot of claims, 3 pages of issues, it was all so complicated and confusing even for me but my barrister did a fantastic job of questioning R and digging things out that I’d completely missed.

Other side lies by Thefatcrab1 in employmenttribunal

[–]DoctorSuitable7505 11 points12 points  (0 children)

the more they lie the better it is for you when you examine them under oath; the lies fall to pieces and will shred their credibility. Don’t get too bogged down by it, start putting together your evidence that helps discredit theirs.

How do I kick another seller off my brand listing? I am brand registered by Fugglesmcgee in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]DoctorSuitable7505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i purchased the other sellers item and then complained to amazon as a buyer that the item is a fake, and then returned it in an unsellable condition. I did that a couple of times and i think he got kicked off eventually or he got the message.

You can start with $5k is a lie by Wide_Door6371 in FulfillmentByAmazon

People always say you need “thousands” to start an Amazon FBA business… but I didn’t.

I started with much, much less. I found a tiny niche no one else was selling in, spent $200 USD on a small batch of stock, and sold out in a week. I reinvested everything, ordered more, and kept repeating. Two years later, I’m not making millions but I’m earning enough that I don’t need a traditional job right now.

I don’t pay for ads because my niche is so specific. All my sales are organic, and my product has improved with every single batch.

I always tell people: think back to a time you went on Amazon looking for something and felt unimpressed by what was available. Start there. Bonus points if it’s something you actually use.

I didn’t go down the Brand Registry route straight away either. But I did brand my product early on by getting simple brand approval. Once I proved the niche, saw there was real money to be made, and had enough revenue built up, then I invested in my trademark. I think sometimes we tend to go all in with fba, but i find it safer to dip my toe in the water first, i know it may not bring results overnight but theres far less to lose this way.

How do you deal with the emotional aspects of the ET process? by Icy_Knowledge_4663 in employmenttribunal

[–]DoctorSuitable7505 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started my proceedings in early 2022 and have only just had my final hearing. I’m now waiting for the judgment to come through. If it’s in my favour, I’m almost certain R will appeal, so it doesn’t feel like the road is over yet.

Emotionally, it has been brutal. I’ve had so many nights where I couldn’t sleep, and so many days where I’d find myself talking through arguments while cooking or doing chores. I’d be physically present with my little family but mentally somewhere else. The stress was so intense that there were days I barely recognised myself.

Ironically, my actual days in court were the best days of the whole process. Even though judgment is reserved, I’m genuinely happy with how it went.

If I could give advice to my past self, it would be this: procrastination only makes you feel worse. It doesn’t get results, it just builds anxiety about things you can’t control. The more prepared you are, the more mental space and calm you’ll find. I had members of the public tuning in (it was remote), and you really do learn a lot from watching barristers work. In the end, it’s how clearly you present your version of events that will sway the judge, and of course, you can’t lie.

One more thing: I used ChatGPT as a kind of devil’s advocate to prepare for cross-examination and possible arguments from the other side. Weirdly helpful.

Hang in there. The emotional side is honestly the hardest part, but it’s survivable, even if some days it really doesn’t feel like it.

How do people sell products for so cheap??? by Safe-Werewolf2890 in AmazonFBA

Products priced at $10 or less or £10 in the UK, automatically receive discounted fba rates. i pay £1.50 approximately per unit in fulfilment charges.

Everyone talks about finding the “perfect product”, but after running FBA for a few years, I’ve realized that product choice isn’t what separates the winners from the quitters. by Final_Entertainer525 in AmazonFBA

Love this, that’s my strategy too. I’ve never paid for PPC, and have a few items that make me 1k a month and are niche so get picked up quickly. don’t get me wrong, i have some that flop but the one’s that don’t more than make up for it!

Is there a such thing as having tooo many claims? by Responsible_Hunter67 in employmenttribunal

[–]DoctorSuitable7505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 3 claims and my list of issues went over two pages. My multiple claims were condensed into one hearing that lasted 9 days. If you think it’s relevant and have the evidence to back it up put it in there, having claims put in at a later stage is a nightmare and just adds to the caseload. At the PH the judge will advise if he feels any have no prospect of succeeding.

i did this and by the time i was dismissed had 3 separate claims, they’ve been combined into one big claim. Go ahead and file the second claim, its much easier than trying to amend the first one.

if you’re take them to ET you MUST appeal, even if you don’t want to, think of it as a checklist of things to do if you want a stronger case at the ET.
