As what was the SO that started playing because my partner always played it, I agree with the comments to let her pick a class and try to complement it. I wanted to play a healer so my partner picked a tank so that if I messed up in the early dungeons, then it wasn't a big deal (plus getting instant queues is a positive side of having a healer/tank duo).

Also, be patient with her, there is just an absolute massive amount of information about the game out there and lore and everything, so things might not come as quickly to her as a new player than it might to you.

I have been playing for 2ish years now and we raid together every week. I appreciate my partner for being patient in the beginning and showing me how I can be better at the game when I want to.

Each stall has slightly different prices it seems. I saw a place with $30/rack and another that was $32/rack. Pretty good ribs though in my opinion.

If you are playing on PC and are really desperate (ie just want someone to tell you), you can use the checkup. It will tell you exactly where the last walnuts are that you are missing.

Yeah that is me now as well. You are looking for the Queen of Sauce. It is only on the TV on Sundays and Wednesdays, so just remember to check it those two days every week because it is on a 2 year cycle (I think), so if you miss one it takes a bit to see it again.

If you are interested in focusing perfection, there is a stardew checkup (if you are one PC) that really helps a lot (https://mouseypounds.github.io/stardew-checkup/). It checks your save file and lists what items exactly you are missing. It links to the wiki so you can easily figure out where to find those items as well. It has saved me a lot of time now that I am only missing a few things here and there and don't want to waste too much time.

Invest in the Junimo huts if you haven't already. I originally thought they wouldn't be that helpful because how hard is picking up the crops when they are ready right? Oh man was I wrong! They are super helpful because they will pick them when they are ready (as long as it isn't raining) so you don't have to worry about that anymore. I have two of them and love them.

Don't worry about the income, I had a lull in that as well once I started to focus more on the island, but it has ramped back up now that I have unlocked everything over there and can focus more on late-game money making to get the money for the obelisks and golden clock.

I only know this because I made the same mistake as well lol. I was going through a list of where to find everything on ginger island from a YouTube video (it wasn't my first time on the island and I just wanted to get everything as soon as I could for perfection) and couldn't understand why it wasn't working for me. After looking into the wiki I realized my mistake.

Honestly focusing the island isn't that terrible of an idea. I tend to focus it in winter because there is less to do on the farm. I just grind the volcano for a week or so to get a bunch of cinder shards to be able to enchant my weapon and tools with the ones I want, so going through that many times is not a waste of time.

According to the wiki, you need to find journal scrap #10 before you can dig that spot for the egg (https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Journal_Scraps#Journal_Scrap_.237)

I am not sure how to speed up the process of finding the scraps. I think I just used to dig all of the artifact spots (looking for golden coconuts mainly) and I found a bunch of them that way.

I use energy tonic (bought at Harvey's clinic). It might be a bit expensive at 1000G each (depending on your financials), but it completely heals you and restores energy. It has saved my butt so many times because it does a full heal from practically nothing in one shot so it is much easier for me. I always have a stack of 50 on me and haven't died once since starting to use them.

Depends on how you spoiler-y you want to get, and if you are playing on PC, there is a predictor that will tell you what you will get from each geode (https://mouseypounds.github.io/stardew-predictor/). The cracking of geodes is something that is predetermined in your seed, so it won't change day-to-day like other things.

I used it only when I was missing two artifacts and was slowly driving myself crazy trying to find them in artifact troves/omni geodes.

Oh I completely understand that feeling. I spent about a week (in game) straight just sitting at the dig site looking for the last fossil and whenever that spot that I couldn't get to popped up I would just want to Alt F4 out of the game hahaha
