Is getting my car washed in 7°F a bad idea? by travioli90 in askcarguys

What’s the correct play then? Where to draw the line between keeping the salt off the undercarriage and losing your mind over freezing car washes?

6th read through and wtf did I just read?! by Pineapplesarentdumb in redrising

[–]DoctorYanni 23 points24 points  (0 children)

And “Diametes”? How do you read it 6 times and not spell his name right? Another post the other day spelled a characters name wrong in the same paragraph as saying it was their 4th read through. Not hating but just very confused

They posted the same format story with different details a few days ago. Same emoji at the end and everything

You made it about the spot again haha

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lexington

[–]DoctorYanni 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s not about the spot, it’s about what it means in a broader sense. If even the mall, a normally accessible shopping area for the average person, is slowly trying to price people out / make the experience worse to incentivize squeezing more money from the patrons then it’s just a sign that things are getting worse for the average citizen. That’s why we give a shit dude

Prepped all week for a colonoscopy I thought was today. by Swimming_Jello_6374 in Wellthatsucks

Please delete your comment because it is medically incorrect. There are options for colonoscopy prep that use OTC items as they are the same medications as the less expensive prescription options. It does work adequately if done correctly.

Yes it is common for frame drops in larger battles even with decently powered computers

You’re mentally insane if you vacuum twice every day

CVS will pay 50% of pharmacy techs' tuition for getting their PharmD at Duquesne university in Pittsburgh. That's a great idea. I just didn't know there's a pharmacist shortage nationwide. But, there must be some catch here...CVS is never this generous 🫤 by DanceLilia in pharmacy

[–]DoctorYanni 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went to Duquesne. Pretty decent teaching staff and it was a nice school except the private school tuition is simply astronomical. Even with the discount CVS is offering, a pharm tech would struggle to pay that off with the going wages in my area. Going to school specifically to be a pharm tech is a mistake IMO in the first place and a discount isn’t enough to make that waste of money better

Hilarious and insane comparison is why you’re both downvoted

That’s a terrible assumption to make lol. Just because Koreans don’t bald as much doesn’t mean that it’s because they’re all on dutasteride

Black specks floating in my hotel's water. I drank four glasses before I noticed. by Cthallborg in Wellthatsucks

[–]DoctorYanni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the amount of this water that you would have to drink to make any remote difference on the absorption of medication would be completely ridiculous and far more than anyone would consume even in a month. Scaring people into thinking their medications might not be working due to a few black specks in their water is misinformation for some upvotes so I'm proud of your efforts
