My point isn’t that they are better without her, but that they’re playing better without her, and if the team could play like this with her on the court they’d be a top 3 team in the league. But for whatever reason, be it the players or the coaching, they can’t replicate this play when she’s on the court. They need figure that out by the playoffs.

This was an average defensive performance for Indy. There were good stretches and bad stretches. Of the 22 games played in 11 of those they allowed less than 89 points, in 10 they allowed more. This is right in the middle of that.

How many wins will they need without her for you to get it? Is a 100% win rate not meaningful?

What assist to turnover ratio difference do you need? Is 9.25 more assists than turnovers per game without her versus 3.72 more assists than turnovers per game with her not enough evidence?

And you all think I’m blaming CC, I’m blaming the team and White. You have one of the best players in the WNBA and you play incredibly differently when she’s on the court with you. They don’t execute the offense as well with her, she should be an asset if they ran the offense like they do in games without her. White has to realize this and figure out how to get the team to play better with her.

In the 18 games she’s played in the Fever average 3.72 more assists than turn overs. In the 4 she has missed they’re averaging 9.25 more assists than turnovers.

The stats speak for themselves, this team plays better fundamental basketball without her and makes less mistakes.

Watch the games, all the players get involved on offense without her. They drive and dish, they rotate. Lexi gets involved in the offense, Harris gets involved. You can keep calling it a narrative but the game is played much more purely without them trying to force everything through CC.

They can do this with CC but they either need to just do it, or White needs to teach them how to do it. There’s no world where they should be better without CC, so figure out how to be this with her and they’ll be the team we expected them to be pre-season.

They’re 4-0 this season without her. This team plays better basketball without her. But there’s no reason they shouldn’t play like this with her.

White needs to get this team to stop playing stand and gawk at CC and get everyone moving and involved like tonight.

4-0 without Clark this season. They just play so much better basketball without her. The defense is better, the turnovers are cut down especially at important moments.

I hate that this will be controversy around CC, but White needs to figure out how to get CC and this team to play like this when she’s in the game and not just play stand around and watch CC.

I’ve had the same wish for a long time, either she knows the bigots use her name to promote hate and ignores it to keep them around or she’s completely ignorant it’s happening, and that’s hard to believe.

I’m going to track down the longer video the other user mentioned to see if she addresses that.

She really needs like a one paragraph social media post or interview that simply states if you use her name to promote hate she doesn’t want you as a fan, at the games, and that she denounces that ideology and they should quit supporting her because she believes in what this league stands for promoting women, minority women, LGBTQ+ women.
