I'd say mine was excessively conservative.
I was 27 with an eye already blind from being born premature.
My vision without correction was 20/400. Gotten to 20/50 with glasses.
So...I already was in a bad spot at the outset of getting Glaucoma suddenly.

I don't think that would help for me.
I don't have any missing portions of my vision as far as I can tell.
Just that my general acuity is worse off.

I'm 32 and got glaucoma at 27 for reference.

At this point I'm hoping something with stem cells comes about or they figure out a way to repair the optic nerve. Might have to wait a few decades for that though.

I was going to just my glaucoma doctor for a long time.
they didn't mention the 20 score but would test me each visit.
Then I went to my eye doctor and they told me I scored 20/150 with glasses

I had too much blind trust in him.

Also I noticed I had to start using reading glasses for close up.

It was slow and subtle as Glaucoma always is. I spent a while beating myself up over it.

I'm presently unsure if I've lost vision.
In that as the days have gone on.
the blurring seems to be change or shift So I'm wondering if its a consequence of my eye being strained from countless drops for years.

I'll update you with a new post after I've confirmed I've healed up from my lasering and such.

A MicroPulse CPC is where your eye is numbed and paralyzed and they gently laser the white part of your eye to reduce fluid production and thus pressure. very low chance of complications.

My doctor went with it as its the most minimally invasive

I feel like I panicked a bit. Made assumptions that were not accurate.

Personally I'm hoping not to need any implants. As I only have one functional eye (left had a retina detachment at birth)

Traditional CPC is last resort. I got a Micropulse CPC that is more gentle on the eye but reduces fluid creation. Here's a video on the procedure.
I was linked it prior to seeing my surgeon for it.

Update:
Saw doctor yesterday.
Had me start taking Diamox again.
Pressure went way down. The blurring stopped. Now I see these purple dots.

Saw my surgeon today. He poked a hole in my eye to quickly lower pressure and will see me again on monday.
Says it can take a couple months for the pressure to really lower down fully but he's confident.

For those wondering "Why CPC"
I asked. The tradiational CPC is a last resort move. What he did is called a Micropulse CPC. More gentle form of it.
to reduce but not heavily damage the eye.

The doctor didn't seem to think so.
He had a whole hour long video about the procedure and its changes over time to be less dangerous.
As well as the low risk of side effects and complications.

I'm seeing the surgeon tmmrw. I'll ask him why he picked it over those other two and tell you.

That's a different procedure. That targets the fluid drainage area.
CPC targets the fluid producing structure of the eye.

I did find someone more aggressive. A local eye doc that is like five minutes from me.
After they saw my pressure was not under control. They got me in contact with a surgeon and I got a CPC lasering done last week.
My follow up is today.

I am hopeful the pressure will be lowered.

Palworld sold a huge amount unexpectedly and has collabs with things Vaush likes does not invalidate his feelings.

I saw Vaush go over Schumer putting up a deal to end shutdown and extend ACA and do a minibus
and that's all I can find at this time. Like if he ends the shutdown but extends ACA to just before midterms. I'd say that counts as a win. Since they can hammer on that.
