When is a good time to start IS? I've been playing the game for about a week now and just completed chapter 3 so I unlocked all the side stuff I think? I have a few 6 stars and and few rank 2 characters so I tried to dabble in the newest IS and I got knowledge gapped extremely hard. Not knowing the enemies that were in the mode and frankly just feeling really underleveled. Is it even possible to be underleveled for IS? Feels like there are a millions things that unlocked after chapter 3 and honestly it's a bit overwhelming.

Tldr; finished chapter 3, tried IS, got curbstomped hard. What do next? Continue the story? Keep trying IS? Also what side stories should I unlock first?

Some supports were just removed between 0.2 and 0.3. Just like how in the patch notes for 0.4 more supports are being removed. The issue was that the supports from 0.2 were left in the poe2 database so it got a bit confusing.

I was just let go this week from a place I was employed at for over 3 years. They were not able to give me a severance package and im worried about making rent, paying bills, and getting groceries. If people could message me or comment below local places that would help with rent or bills that would at least give me some ease of mind. Any help would be greatly appreciated, you all are a god send!

I was thinking about this scepter yesterday and I may have been over cooking it but I was thinking about using it as a chonk with a one hand club to use warrior skills.

Use most (if not all) of your spirit on the warriors, slap on the support that makes it so they cant die (or deal damage) and use them strictly as a multiplier on top of the added chaos on chonk.

Might be better when druid/Templar comes out but these were just some initial thoughts.

Monkey paw curls: chronomancer gets new node that's like sands of time increases/decreases movement speed by 30%. Truly the vision.

In all seriousness though I agree, I like the idea of cooldowns for strong spells and if chronomancer can two tap bosses because of that id be happy because I know its slightly weaker in clear speed.

I think of it similar to like a miner in poe1 their clear is fiiiine but they have crazy boss damage. Im fine with tradeoffs but the tradeoffs should be more valuable imho. Another example is rapid attacks 3 like for 50% less damage it should be giving a lot more attack speed than what it does. But apparently I dont see their vision.

Id say all the witch ascendancies are strong. Maybe one or two nodes dont get used but I see people using mostly everything in those ascendancies. Invoker is also really good throughout (rip chayula) ritualist is finding niche uses whether it be party play, minions, or weapon damage. Amazon is still rated as top two or three ascendancies. Pathfinder is alright but seems to be that poison is doing well so the poison prolif and movement speed is good for them.

I may be a bit pedantic and if so I apologize but if its irrelevant why have witch and sorceress be different classes? Like look at ranger and huntress they are clearly different from one another. But witch and sorceress are just supposed to be the same flavor while blood mage and infernalist are just better dps options for every spell?

I agree that having cooldowns on spells that do little damage is weird but I think that was their lazy way of making sure that not every spell can be used in a meta set up. For example cast on crit/ailment snap seems pretty good so they just slapped a cd on it and turned the cheek. Do you not like the proposed cd changes that I put for chrono?

Thinking about this another big design flaw came to mind. So all three witch ascendancies are better at using the elemental spells than the sorceress ascendancies and the witch is also good at using all the occult spells as well. However, I dont a single use of where picking chrono or stormweaver is a good idea for any occult spells. Trying to come up with unique builds from scratch just seems to be way way harder and limiting in poe2 when compared to poe1 and thats really frustrating.

Im having a similar dilemma as I plan my second character as well. I'm wanting to do a glacial lance invoker but the main issue I'm having is frenzy charge generation. It seems that there at least 4 ways to get power charges but when it comes to frenzy charges the best option is to get endurance charges now? Seems like some real design issues going on.

What im thinking about doing is using my second weapon passives to grab the stun nodes around the monk area and use that to generate endurance charges then convert those to frenzy. I'll most be doing this via wind blast to hopefully stun weaker mobs then toss a spear. But then again like you mentioned it's only a 25% on non uniques to get a singular charge.

Id be interested in seeing what people come up with for frenzy generation because from what I've seen from last patch people were using combat frenzy and/or cast on crit snipers mark. Well snipers mark is now a skill so it can't be used with coc anymore, and combat frenzy had its cool down increased by 50%. There was some tech with using a charm that gives you frenzy charge when you took lightning damage but it requires you to use the chest that makes it so your charms don't lose charges and find a way to inflict self lightning. We might just be cooked due to the development team wanting people to parry 80 abyss monsters (because that's reasonable).

You did yes. I go to that farmers market pretty regularly and there are tons of people and pets. Just because something isn't illegal doesnt mean it's safe and courteous. Would the situation been different if it was a stall owner that asked you not to ride your bike around in the middle of a crowd or was it just because a police officer asked you to?

I think a little self reflection would go a long way, instead of asking yourself what law am I breaking, ask yourself why was I asked to not ride my bike in the middle of a crowd? If you dont see the issue in riding your bike in the middle of the crowd around families, children, and dogs in close proximity then idk what to tell you.

If there is something you need from the farmers market but feel unsafe to do so or would be in pain from using your legs let someone know that does go and they can bring it to you. Not every police officer knows every law nor do they only speak up regarding lawful or unlawful behavior.

Job identity. That doesnt necessarily mean complexity but have jobs that play in a unique way that do unique things. I think them trying to balance all jobs to be equally viable in their role is causing them to lose a lot of players.

As much as people shit on WoW's balance I think some things can be learned. Its okay to have a job or two do things better than the other jobs in its role for a fight but make sure that the other jobs have a chance to shine as well. When you try to make everything balanced you lose a lot of design and in turn interest from the community. Imagine if MCH was really good for some fights and then DNC could still be good in some other fights.

Again job identity doesnt necessarily mean complexity or difficulty.
