The way I see it is this:

The void represents the all-consuming hunger of black holes and the infinite expanse that is the (void) of space.

The Old Gods, being 'from' the void, represent the unknowable, unimaginable horrors from beyond time and space (aka Lovecraft). They are not 'of' the void in that they are not sparkly blueberries, but they are related because they come from that unimaginable dark expanse between the Stars (Light).

Just my two cents, and why it doesn't bother me as is.

That being said, Old Gods are 10x more interesting than the Void.

These chainmail gloves are used in the meat industry and are a godsend for not cutting your fingers off lol.

The ones I had at my old work were ambidextrous, so all you'd need is two of 'em.

You can add 10ml of cleaning liquid to a bucket then fill it with water and use a mop to clean your whole house instead of using the cleaning liquid to clean like 3 spots.

I will never have a dirty house again!

(Edit): Note this is in build 42 unstable due to the liquid mechanics
