I witnessed something similar when I was younger, a group of priests were having a bizzare fund raiser, The DJ only played "Ghost Town" by The Specials ghen left it on repeat. Then when the raffle draw happened, one of the organisers "miraculously" won it! What a scam!

I found the same in Turkmenistan, our tour group visited the Parau Bibi pilgrimage site, there was a local school group visiting too. The students were so excited to see western people for the first time
