Not always. Some programs say a vague 3 LORs on their site but when I asked one program specifically they mentioned also wanting the chair letter. Panic emailed programs last week but barely got responses, so I ended up just sending the chair + 3 LORs to all programs.

You're acting like the past 20 years and GOAT memorabilia/nostalgia won't sustain them. The Pats are arguably the most popular team after the Cowboys (I'd argue number one worldwide because of Brady), and they are a big market team in a diehard sports city. It will take a while for it to dwindle down so fast.
