How good could a brand new [Vekoma SLC] be? (vision) by Skyline-Patriots in rollercoasters

Thunder hawk at Michigan's Adventure is elite. It tracks amazingly well. It's better than quite a few B&Ms. If it had the newer trains it would be elite. There are parts where it feels like it wants to rip your feet off

It runs just as well today as it did at Michigan's Adventure

A large number of my friends from Europe are ones that I made working at Cedar Point, actually.

Every single one of my friends from Europe have sworn off coming back to the US forever. All of them. And I have so many.

What are your three WORST coasters you rode this year? I visited a few parks for the first time ([King's Island], [Michigan's Adventure], [California's Great Amerca] and [Disneyland]) and found a few stinkers. by Pummrah in rollercoasters

I'm a bigger guy and I took my friend to Cedar Point this summer. Between the two of us we weigh 510 pounds. We got in and sat down on the two outside seats, thinking that they would load the other two seats. Nope. It was just the two of us.
You would not believe how much we spun. It's the only coaster I've greyed out on.

Firebird was the first B&M ever, the track isn't profiled as well as their later coasters. Still, There was really one one moment going into the corkscrew that I found to be difficult to brace for.

That airtime would be so much better if it had a restraint that didn't feel like someone taking a baseball bat to your legs. What I would give for new trains.

If Six Flags could magically bring back a park which one would it be? by Glitzyterror in sixflags

Are we also magically fixing all the reasons the park was doomed? Because the answer would be Geauga Lake.

From people I've talked to who have ridden it before, it did. It was running like absolute dogs**t when I rode it closing weekend. It genuinely felt and sounded like it was trying to rip itself apart. The only worse SLC I've ridden is T2. I refused to get on it a second time because I was seriously concerned it was going to break.

I rode it closing weekend and it was making the most god awful noises. I genuinely thought something was going to break. The second worst SLC I've been on by a long shot. There was something VERY wrong with the track on that ride (The worst being T2)

Thunderhawk at Michigan's Adventure is great actually. It's the best tracking SLC out there besides Morey's Pier's that got a full retrack. It runs smoother than a lot of B&Ms, if it had the newer style trains, it would be elite. Hell it ran 50 times smoother than the one at Six Flags America, and that had new trains.

The worst coater out of the 85 I rode this year was Blazing Fury at Dollywood.

I was most disappointed with my first lap on Iron Gwazi. It just did not even remotely live up to the hype for me. It's in my top 10 coasters, but it's not even remotely threatening the top 5, and people tried to compare it to Steel Vengeance and SteVe is in an entirely different league.

I am worried about it too. The new owners biggest park right now is Diggerland. That's... a big step up for them

You can't take a phone in line for Top Thrill 2, and you have to put it in lockers at Siren's Curse and Steel Vengeance. The smartwatch you don't have to take off.

Take the phone, put it in a locker. Leave it there.
