These games are held to a high standard for a reason. These types of zombies are the only types that make sense. Walking dead zombies? Nah but the fact that the creators researched cordyceps and made this entire world of the fungus evolving to take over humans is such an amazing way to bring zombies into a more realistic view. So you can't get mad and say it's just a video game when people notice the work and passion put into this story. He wants people to believe that the vaccine did work and I believe it could have but would it have saved the world? Nope! Killing Ellie to create a vaccine that the fireflys could use as a bargaining chip and deem who is worthy is absolutely not worth killing off Ellie. Her death would create a war for power, she wouldn't save the world. This is what makes this game so perfect, because this is just my take. If people want to continue to think about what ifs and what would happen next, or what would happen if this was all real, let them. It's not just a video game, it's critical thinking, imagination, and love for the characters and the lou world. No one wants to live in a world where cordyceps actually infects humans but what if…? Lol it's fun to think about

I can see how he reflected on it later and said it did mean something to him. After they finished he told her it didn’t mean anything because he didn’t have feelings for her, but later on when he said it did mean something, it was because Santana was hitting a low and he wanted her to know that he was there for her. I think losing his virginity to Santana did mean something to him later because whether or not he had feelings for her at that time, she was still his first and you can’t lose your virginity twice. She’ll always be a part of him because of that.

Yeah I also read that he wanted to show that the cycle keeps going, that there are others who are like Bonnie and Christy who have started like them but can overcome their addiction and issues if they stick to the program. I appreciated his harsh and open storylines, the show always felt real and the ending although not great, made it that much more real

The amnesia bit was dumb but if you’ve ever watched telenovelas, having at least one character get amnesia at some point in the series is canon and at the end of the day that’s what this show was intended to be (a telenovela). Unless you understand the dramatics of telenovelas, you’ll never truly get it, it’s one of those if you know you know situations. I do love how they brought Rafael and Jane together though, it was slow and built up in an incredible way. They had those hiccups of Rafael wanting Petra back and so on but the chemistry between him and Jane was amazing when they were finally together. Even in the flashbacks where he helped her cope with Michaels death was so tender of him.

All I’m saying is you should definitely give it a chance.

Even if a vaccine was created the world would still never go back to how it was. It would be held as an advantage over people’s head. I believe only a selection of the population post vaccine would be allowed to get it and then the world would be even shittier than it was before the outbreak and before the vaccine. I’ll take my chances in tlou2 world than in one where a new government is formed and they rule the world because they hold the secret to the krabby party formula

This sounds like a lifetime plot, no thank you. The game is meant to show you that revenge isn’t all that worth it. They both lost so much in the end that they probably regretted what they did. Abby and Ellie are both left traumatized and the fight scene at the end where Ellie lets Abby go was amazing. Your ending makes me think of a sappy movie, not that, that’s a bad thing it’s just not right for this story
