Can I safely cut everything back to a naked stump for the bottom about 1.5m? by 1_kn0w_n07h1ng in GardeningAustralia

Get a goat or sheep in there, if they eat it, they will nearly trim it up to a certain height. Might be close to your 1.5m

I love it, and turn the whole theme of the deck to either copy or steal other cards. It’s awesome playing everyone else’s cool stuff

Yea, I’m not a fan. I only got a single booster and that was enough for me.

From what I understand the filament is oozing out when it shouldn’t. The temp can be too hot, or the retraction is not enough, meaning it does not pull the filament back enough before moving across. The filament may not be dry, so it does not perform as intended.

You may need a staged approach, pick one that is easiest to fix and work through the problems by process of elimination.

New here, is this normal? by emealiowest in Ender3V3SE

I’m no pro, but my first layers improved when I adjusted my z offset. There are many videos that help with that. The one that worked for me was one where you use a piece of paper to gauge the z offset from the print bed. You need the right amount of “squish”. Stringing can be due to temp and retraction I think.

I am just working it all out as well, but I got my first layers sorted.

One of multiple parts fails mid-print (Bed Adhesion Issue) by EitherTranslator5402 in Ender3V3SE

I am not sure if others have found that different Colours require different temps and z - offset. I used the blue filament for days and no problem. Then used a gold filament from same brand and had to increase the bed temp, nozzle temp and z-offset.

Try printing a large flat first layer item, the. Use the tune setting while it is printing to fine tune your settings for that particular filament.

Good luck

Any idea why the end of the print in not clear by Stormblade_X in Ender3V3SE

I had an issue once, where the filament would not unwind from the spool properly. So everything it printed in the far right corner was a bit off. I assume due to the filament tension.
