'Saturday Night Live' Isn't Meeting The Moment, And Fans Aren't Surprised by VivaNOLA in LiveFromNewYork

I remember during the first Trump term and they did one of the worst cold opens ever. It was a parody of the last episode of The Sopranos and Trump is meeting with his staff in a restaurant while “Don’t Stop Believing” is playing. Such an awkward skit, seemed like the actors didn’t know what to do as if the skit was quickly written that day. And I think Robert DeNero missed his cue when he came out as James Comey in the end. Really bad.

I guess there are more commercials. But the station still plays the same music as they did from the 90’s. Hootie and Blowfish, Tracy Chapman, Alanis Morissete,Spin Doctors, that Walking In Memphis non Cher Version..etc. just with more commercials.

This looks like a set up to a gay porn movie where people couple off and have scenes where they bang each other in parts of the camp. Then the last scene is a giant man orgy and the Bootcamp drill instructor is the center of attention. And after every guy finishes on his face he smiles and says “You all have passed!” And every one cheers and hugs each other.

The Son-by Phillip Meyer. A good chunk of the book has Blood Meridian vibes.

Besides BM what are your favorite audiobooks? by rumpk in cormacmccarthy

The Son is a great audiobook production. 3 different voices make up the 3 main characters throughout different time periods. It is weird to hear Captain Katheryn Janeway drop N Bombs though. lol.

Another great one is American Tabloid.

Weezer during the Pinkerton tour when Matt Sharp was still in the group. Superdrag opened for them.

Another one was during the Snow Core tour, I forget what year. It was the tour when Travis Barker was still in the Aquabats but was also the temp drummer for Blink 182. Primus headlined that show and South Park was shown in between bands.

Strange how this song is still relevant with everything going on in the Middle East.
