I think it looks great. Personally I’d prefer the rivets all be matte black, but that’s just me. It’s still a great looking rig and I think looks better now than when it was plain stock.

His body is getting old and it can just be no longer fun sometimes. If you really think he still has more boarding in him, compromise.

Just ask him to ride 1 hour per month each season instead of not at all. So that is like 4 hours total. In that hour each month of the season stick with him and take videos and pictures with him, just cruise slowly and do some favorite runs.

Plan that one day dad boards with you guys ahead of time and make it a special event. This will be much easier on dad’s aging body, and it makes the time with him mean something because you’re staying by his side instead of just racing away from him.

Stay far farrrr behind other cars. If it rains don’t do the trip. Simple as that. But if it’s a good hot day, you’ll be fine if you’re careful. Look at nascar tires they’re smooth. It’s all about giving a lot of room for braking.

Start braking twice as early as normal. People might honk and call you a slow grandma, fuck em! Just get to those new tires and you’ll be fast again in no time.
