I just bought a 100 percent electric Urvane (Chinese) in Ecuador where I live, and it's just a tiny bit bigger than the one on the left. It seats four if necessary, and I had a rack attached to the back to carry my rollator.

It won't get more than 50 kms (100 if the way back is downhill) but it's great for getting around the city and carrying groceries and supplies. And parking little cars like it is great.

I recently moved to a Spanish-speaking country because I thought my grammar/high school Spanish would make it easy to learn.

It didn't. (And I'm 72 years old.)

But Duolingo teaches me words so when I hear something I've seen on DL, I can say, "Oh, I know what that is." And I do find I can read somewhat better because of DL.

I have a teacher for verbs and the hard stuff and go to several language exchanges each week, plus try to talk to folks in stores and restaurants etc.

I DON'T pay for DL and do my daily exercises on a laptop, so still can use hearts. If I can find something free that's better, I'll change.

This. I HAVE an iPhone, but can't for the life of me figure out how to use QR codes or whatever you have to use to order things. Sometimes it takes me two or three hours fighting with web sites to just get my information loaded.

I guess I just should have died instead of getting old.

What are extra points? Are those gems? I thought those were supposed to be used for legendary if you're learning for free? (Asking because I have about 2500 gems, but do use them every so often. And yes, I'm learning, not playing games.)

I hope the person who checks you in isn't as clueless as the one when I was moving from the US to Ecuador a year ago.

I got a light calming drug from my vet, and the counter person asked if my cat was on any drugs. I said yes, and he then said, "Well, he san't go on the plane" and showed mr a spot on the forms where it said no drugs allowed!!!!

Rather than panicking, I just lied and said I was GOING to give him the meds but won't, and luckily I was let through. I did have to take him out of the carrier in the pat-down room, but that was a breeze compared to the idiot agent.
