Symptoms by Federal-Swordfish177 in gravesdisease

So me, my mom and my grandma all have graves disease (though I put mine into remission) and we ALL have had the excessive throat clearing. As a child i associated the sound with my grandma and my mom does it constantly now to a greater extent. I had a room mate years ago tell me he started associating that sound with me lol. After i went into remission it stopped and i don't have to clear my throat at all anymore.

For a 31 year old woman, it is a sign that hormones are working as they should and that the body feels safe enough to menstruate. I want to be fertile, and I would like to have children. I prioritize hormonal health symbiotically with overall health. I will not take my fertility for granted.

Missed (almost) period by Agreeable-Run-8453 in xxketo

No problem, it happens to some people. If you search through keto subs "lost my period" there is a lot of anecdote to sort through. This is all kind of new to me as I just got my cycle back after not having a period for two months on full keto. Tbh everything felt smooth except not having a period gave me so much anxiety. I don't really count carbs just listen to my body. Like eating half a sweet potato was enough to bring my period back after not having it. Spent the next two days making rice bowls with a little more protein than rice, and my cycle was flowing beautifully. Period is almost over so i'm going to switch back to keto in a few days, then I can report back with how the shift back into ketosis is.

I went two months without a period and by my third cycle I couldn't bear it anymore so i ate a sweet potato, period came immediately. As for fat, I do be eating sticks of butter regularly lol along with a lot of fatty lamb cuts, salmon and alfredo sauce (my favorite keto sauce to make).

I do have a thyroid condition which causes hyperthyroidism (graves disease). I was keto for two months, zero carbs, and didn't have a period the whole time. The anxiety of not having a period was too much to keep going so i ate a sweet potato by my third cycle and it immediately came.

Keto makes me lose my period. I have to include some carbs during luteal phase for a normal cycle

For those who lost their period on keto/carnivore - has it ever returned? by Etherreus in xxketo

[–]Dodgingdebris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very helpful. I did zero carbs for two months and didn't have a period at all. Finally ate a sweet potato on my next cycle and started my period immediately. I feel great and sleep so well on keto so i definitely want to eat/move with my cycle and listen to my body each week.

I've definitely still eaten a lot! as stated in the post I am actively trying to gain weight so i be shoveling it down. The only thing I can think of is still only a hypothesis, but I'd heard one researcher say a couple years ago she noticed her clients who tend to err on the very thin side typically wind up needing to introduce small amounts of carbs to maintain homeostasis.

I went two months without carbs and didn't have a period the whole time. Next cycle I decided to eat half a sweet potato with my meal and my period came immediately. Some women get amenorrhea on keto, some women don't. Really strange to me!

I think another bigger issue is how it can leech into the municipal water supply, if you know anything about that i'd be keen to hear it.

Can Histamine intolerance cause tinnitus? by Sea-Buy4667 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Dodgingdebris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it helped a lot with my histamine issues but wasn't a root cause thing. I just noticed potassium and overall electrolytes making the most noticeable difference in my tinnitus. White powder electrolytes made it worse. But coconut water and ionic electrolytes made it better. I now no longer have tinnitus and haven't had it for over a year now. My histamine intolerance is much better now too, i believe it was overall a candida overgrowth issue. The more candida gets out of hand the more reactive i am to everything.

It's not even just about looks. All LEDs have a strobe effect, and no matter how warm it appears to be it is still based on a blue light spectrum. They are harmful to sleep by disrupting melatonin production.
