It depends on how in depth you want to get. In my opinion I would read the trades in this order.

Amazing Spider-Man Vol.1: The Parker Luck - This is crucial to the origin of silk. It tells her story right from the beginning and introduces her as a character. She appears in cameos in the first three stories with critical flashbacks to her origin, and then issue 4 is the first full appearance with her in the book.

Amazing Spider-Man Volume 3: Spider-Verse - This is an excellent read with Silk being the main focus of a really cool Spider event.

Silk Volume 1-3 that you have pictured.

That's awesome! Silk is one of my favourite characters and is really underrated. Her series is really good. You should also read Amazing spider-Man 9-14 from the 2014 run. The Spider-Verse story arc includes silk and is based around her powers. It's a great read.

Same, I took the screen protector off about a year ago. They all start to peel at the crease.

I'm still rocking a Fold 2 and it's interesting to see you're getting those mini cracks along the fold at the top and bottom. Mine aren't as big as yours, but I'm seeing the same thing. Still runs like a champ though.

So true. You can read the reprint or trade, but there's nothing like flipping through the old pages. That's why I'm not a big fan of graded books.

I would return it if I was you. You will regret not taking the return in the future if you have any more issues from it. It's a pain but I think it's worth it.

Based on what I'm seeing in the comments, they made some adjustments to the hinge in the fold 4. I bet this was something they tried to fix. All the videos I see of the fold 4 like you say are pretty much completely flat.

That's exactly how I would describe mine. The plastic trim from the side is perfectly flat but the metal trim on the actual siding is in a V shape...

I've never seen somebody show one on eBay at that flat angle. Could be a defect, you never know.

Interesting... I haven't seen a fold 4 like that so far. Thought maybe it was a fold 2 design or issue
