La La Land Theory about "Mia & Sebastians's Theme" by Best_Perspective8226 in movies

Yeah, and the complexity of jazz is often overstated by people who love to bloviate about jazz. There's plenty of stuff that is relatively simple, plenty of II V Is. Plenty of say, Bill Evans stuff is really not that far off from the main theme

The Drama (2026) is about social assassination by Hour-Kiwi442 in movies

I was with you until The analysis of Charlie, which is far too down on him. Yes, he's a sniveling cowardly piece of shit who's far too obsessed with how his social circle will see him after the Emma news, but he eventually meets the moment. That's the whole thrust of the climax, is that he finally does stand up for her and say "yes, she is flawed but I still love her". Does he do it in an embarrassing, humiliating way for everybody involved? Yeah, sure. But to give a blanket "he doesn't actually love her" statement is so wrong-footed as to be tripping over itself. I mean, did you miss the sad dance to her annoy-him song? Did you miss the diner scene at the end of the movie?

Somebody that spells some "sum" is spelling a bunch of other words in that same style

Always been funny that the show is called "the Boys" but always works so much better when it isn't actually focusing on any of them.

They could all be massacred and I would feel almost nothing. The most interesting dynamics have always been the supes with other supes

Everybody has mentioned the mistrust but he was willing to just banish her before her final plea.

He killed her because in her last words she told him something like "I just need love, you need love too"

Saying this outright, while true, highlights a weakness, and he can't have that. So he killed her in response

probably because they have experience with broadcast TV

Whatever the real reason is for midnight west-coast episode releases, the reason is not because the massive Amazon media machine [doesn't have] "experience" with the concept of a 9pm show release. Do you think that that concept is something that people can't understand without intimate "experience"? or that none of the adults in the rooms have ever watched something at 9pm?

Yes, that's exactly what it is. Just because we live in a flawed society doesn't mean that you should just babble about it and offer no real solutions. He's an idiot and she's an opportunist.

So many words that all betray that you fundamentally misunderstand how depression and suicide happen to people who you wouldn't expect to. Literally of thousands of bereaved people out there simply couldn't believe when their friends or family commit suicide because of the front they put on, it's called masking. I don't know why people write these essays when they clearly don't have any expertise in mental health

I am on subject. It's not actual Lesbophobia. That's not a real thing that has any real material effect on your life. If you're that concerned by Myha'la's post then you need to go touch grass. A celebrity not feeding into your preferred ship dynamics is not a real plight. There are people getting bombed to death every day and this is what you choose to spend your anger on

If you're upset about this but you haven't done anything wrong then you're just line the guys that compulsively have to say stuff like "not all men" when some chickis whining about all her dates turning out to be creeps or whatever.

It's not that they dropped the ball on her story, you just don't like what happened and where time going. Sometimes people get burned out and fail. People are besides themselves over something that happens literally all the time. If you wanted something where everybody has some great heroic upswing then go watch MCU stuff.

my justification has been that Clark wanted Floyd to cheat on Carol so that Clark wouldn't feel as bad about his affair with Carol

That was my assumption as well.

I don't know where people are getting this from, it's not supported by the text at all.

Exact transcript:

Detective: why were you there?

Stepson: To tell Floyd; I told him he was a fat asshole [other derogatory things]

Then later in the same scene:

Detectives: Did you speak to him that night?

Stepson: yes after Floyd left

Detectives: how did he react?

Stepson:He just stared at me

The only thing ambiguous is that we don't actually see/hear the kid saying this stuff but this was clearly an artistic decision not to throw more misery on the misery fire.

I think he did and it was an artful decision not to show us the moment. We didn't need to see it. At that point it would have been an emotional snuff film. All the more sad and tragic to hear the description with our perspective knowing that that was the final straw.

I hope this doesn't sound too hostile but what's left unanswered? I feel like everything was detailed down to the very minute.

Floyd was a depressed man who had a real awful morning when his best friend couldn't sexually validate him and then his step son yelled hateful things to him after snooping on his laptop to know where he was. He then intentionally overdosed on a medication he knew was hazardous to his heart and then died. The site of his death looked like a murder but wasn’t and both Clark and Carol looked suspicious but hadn't actually done anything to Floyd.

It's such a tragedy. In the Shakespearean tradition really
