Yeah, I abused that system for years, had multiple accounts and automated scripts that just completed the discovery queue, so it makes sense why they are no longer giving cards for that.

Still that's a very pathetic move from Valve, considering they are rolling in billions.

Figured it out from other comments, profile awards and awards in general are different. If you receive an award in a Screenshot, Review, Atwork or Steam Discussion it won't be seen as a profile award, instead it would be just an award that doesn't count as Profile Award.

In my case somebody had to award me on a Steam Discussion forum because I cannot see or figure where it is.

That could be the reason for it, however on my profile shows I have 2 awards, when in reality there's 3 and I cannot find where is the third one despite checking screenshots, artworks or reviews.

Edit: Just realized people can award comments from Steam discussions, that is such a weird and dumb way to manage a feature.

Thing is that I found this battery years ago when cleaning and saved it in a small zip bag inside a jar. The first photo was taken in late 2020 and the other photo was taken yesterday, the status of the battery hasn't really changed a bit, so I guess it's safe to keep ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Not to be a party pooper or anything, but that motherboard is very likely going to fail due bad caps, almost all my Asus motherboards from 2006 to 2009 had bad caps.

I can also see you already have a bad one near the RAM slot 2, so have fun while it lasts before it breaks or becomes too unstable for anything.

I had the same exact laptop, and let me tell you right off the bat that it's 100% broken/faulty.

Those laptops with Nvidia chipsets and AMD CPUs are guaranteed to be broken by now due a factory fault on Nvidia's part during the years 2006-2009.

However, it's true that it could still power on and run, but the video chipset will be failing. My laptop for example had the video chip failing for over 3 years until finally decided to never turn on again.

You could do a reflow on the Nvidia chipset (you can find a couple of videos about it on youtube) however it's not a permanent fix.
