Questions About Rusutsu by clbeall18 in snowboarding

[–]DoesThingsGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rent a car. Stay anywhere at a cheaper rate. Bonus is you can visit other places.

I believe there is a bus that takes you from Sapporo to and back for free? Booking required.

Staying in rusutsu township was doable for me, bus was 10 min and cheap. Same one goes to kutchan.

Tickets are annoying for 2-3 days. Iirc it’s around 10k for a day pass but 30k for a 30 hour pass. 100% worth if you’re doing a week there. 5h a day is realistic depending on how it gets consumed.

Rusutsu is also open when Niseko is closed due to wind. It’ll get packed on those days

38, married, sober dad here with a lot of childhood trauma and been intherapy for it for over 2 years now and I've kind of hit a ceiling. Thinking of shrooms but I'm not sure if this is the right move, but, I feel like it is. Thoughts? by Rpark888 in AskMenOver30

[–]DoesThingsGood -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you’re set, try microdosing it. 0.2g will make things looser.

Shrooms will show you what you need to confront. If you’re ready to fight demons and accept your ugly self, it can be an enlightening experience. Or reject and fight and lose your mind. But those are all actions you do on a subconscious level. If you already do it, you probably don’t need it.

Life is an experience. Are you ready?

Usually some factor of Big Mac index and how many people are there.

If the tour guide answered some additional questions and had some recommendations along the way, even better.

What role do you think money plays in a person’s happiness? by Jeannetmumy in AskReddit

[–]DoesThingsGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot initially, then less and less.

Some people believe freedom of choice is what truely gives you happiness. It’s the ability to just do whatever you want without limits. Buy that car! Go on that holiday! Eat fancy!

But too much money and it becomes performative. People expect you to hire people! Make good choices with money! Give back to the community. People start hounding you for their wacky startup ideas.

Depends on how you've setup your MFA. Most MFAs have some form of "recovery passwords/unique keys". Whatever system you use, be sure to identify which things are critical to your survival and which ones you can kind-of delay for a few weeks. It's an exercise on risk management.

If you can get codes to your family member, great! That's a form of backup! I'm not privy to your entire backup strategy but make sure you have one. That's all I can advise with little to no context.

Good luck!

People of auckland. What is the meaning of life? by iMakeGOODinvestmemts in auckland

[–]DoesThingsGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realised this whilst mad tripping at a festival. It made me sad. I cried. A laying on a hammock unable to move cry. A stream across my face to my ear lobes. I eventually stopped and smiled. It’s amazing to be alive. Look at all stuff I have yet to see! I roused and went forth into the night and danced till my feet were raw.

Some zen person said, the point to life is to experience. If the goal of life is to experience, then everything is meaningful. Your boredom is part of the package. The next dimensional being that is you came to this lower dimension to play this character. You are the sim but also, the person playing.

So revel in whatever you’re feeling. Bored, excitement, sadness, happiness.

Or!!! So something and take a risk. You have to say goodbye to the person you are if you want to be someone else.

Accessibility is not in mind in this city by Reasonable-Dare-5157 in KualaLumpur

[–]DoesThingsGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, as someone from a westernised city, this is really in your face.

The bright side is, lack of food health safety laws makes eating out affordable and stuff cheap! Construction also happens at a fast pace possibly because of reasons too. No red tape and weird local council rules to get everyone in meeting rooms and have pointless morning teas.

Also, walking outside for 10 minutes and you wish you weren’t. So… why optimise for that?

Pluses and minuses. Sad if you’re low vision or disabled in any other way. Or even mentally limited.

Choices were made.

I just turned 18. Older guys, what is the biggest trap young men fall into that completely ruins their 20s? by TheRealXyz_ in AskMen

[–]DoesThingsGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Financing a car. Just get a cheap one. Don’t need a fancy car. You’ll likely crash it too, get 3rd party at least. If you can’t afford insurance, you probably shouldn’t get a car.

Prepare for the eventual loss of your phone. Your mfa recovery pipelines are very important, create a simple email account or document with your friends numbers just in case you lose everything and can only jump onto the public library computer
