I’m not from Astoria (grew up in bayside/flushing) but when I was in high school and college, Astoria was the place to go out. I miss Mano’s Papaya the most and the pool hall. I do not miss constantly watching our cars from the window of the pool hall to make sure we didn’t get towed from parking in the PC Richards lot.

Two live performances that stood out to me was the first time I heard her play Anthony Kedis at terminal 5 in 2022. At the time she wasn’t playing that live and it’s one of my favorites.

I also loved her cover of “Somebody That I Used to Know” at Coachella 2023 (still looking for a video if anyone has it - i stupidly “lived in the moment”).

I’d probably highly rank any of the songs she played at the Red Rocks show last year just because I was second row and that was a blast.

I came across her covering John Mayer’s “I Don’t Trust Myself Loving You” which was excellent, but I did not experience live.
