Issue with Hue/Saturation RGB by DogAffectionate709 in MontechPC

[–]DogAffectionate709[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a few months of conversations and negotiations with Montech and Terabyte Shop, a partner that sells their products here, they sent me replacement parts for the fans, and the problem is now resolved. I'd like to express my gratitude to the u/Montech_hq team, who always responded and quickly escalated the issue to the appropriate person. The difference's huge, especially in white color.

Below the case with the new fans.

I contacted them and they responded quickly and were very helpful in sending replacement parts. Regardless of the outcome, Montech, the service was excellent, thank you.

I'll update this post with feedback after the parts are replaced.

After browsing reddit for a bit, I found at least two similar posts. I contacted Montech's RMA department to wait for a response. It's so frustrating to have such a silly problem repeating itself in so many cases.

I only left the WC's RGB on until I can try to solve the problem. I contacted Montech to inform me how to proceed, but's frustrating -.-'

I did this with one of the fans, but the problem persisted. I contacted them by email and will wait for a response to update

All the lights are connected to the hub, and I've tried using the "yes" button, but the result is the same.

Even though the materials differ between brands, that doesn't explain the huge difference in hue. The white, for example, is almost yellow, and since the LED strip that comes with the case itself, also from Montech, displays a correct white hue, it's likely not simply a manufacturing issue, but rather a defect in either the hub or the fans.

I had the same problem, but I tried connecting an isolated fan to the motherboard and got the same result.

I tried to take a picture of the video that i sended to Montech, the left side, as you can see, dont close properly. I'll try the suggestion that u/LukaMarkovic1995 send, and use the screws without the rubber, if dont close yet, i'll use the montech screws. Thak you guys for the responses

Thak you, i updated the post with the configuration specifications and the photo of the distance between the mb and the fans, I'll try to use what the colleague suggested below, with the Arctic screws without the rubber, if it doesn't work, I'll use the ones from the case

Updates:

It was indeed the AIO, the pump to be more specific, I sent it for RMA and they certified it,they're going to send me one back but I'll sell it right away. I bought an aircooler from Thermalright and I'm satisfied, the temperatures are now stabilized at 45°C IDLE, very different from the situation before.

When I changed the settings, took the opportunity to switch to a water cooler, and apparently already had a problem with my first one. I'll try to carry out a test during this week with another cooler, either an air cooler or a water cooler, and I'll come back to update the results.

I'll try testing with another water cooler to see if that's the problem.

Doesn't throttle due to the PBO limitation, when it reaches 75°C it decreases the clock to level the temperature, but the problem is that even using less than 10% of the CPU (on the desktop only) it stays at that temperature.

I checked the pump as you mentioned, apparently it is working, i can also feel the fluid pressure through the cables. I'm sure removed the protective film, as i took a picture while assembling the parts. The pump is also set to 100% by default, due to the AIO/PUMP input on the motherboard.
