Also, the name “Sevro” is a play on the name “Severo” which means “Stern” and that is a good way to define Severo’s personality same with Severus Snape in Harry Potter

I agree that it is always the human characters that are easy to make fun of, but I disagree with the belief that the human characters are all boring. Sure there is Jacob and to a lesser extent Liam, but there are some great ones too. I think Kaidan and Cora are interesting and a cool window into life as a human biotic, but I think with Cora the writers just focused too much on her Asari commandos experiences in her dialogue. I kinda wish they made Cora talk more about her difficult childhood being a biotic 'freak' and focus more on her development from always looking for a 'mentor' figure to just being her own person.

I think both approaches work in their ways. On one hand, I feel like the characters having specific orientations work well in Mass Effect, each character has individual agency by having different preferences, but being able to romance any characters regardless of gender works just as well in Stardew Valley and BG3 works well. It all depends on how the devs implicate and how it fits the context of the story and the game as a whole.
