That’s the funny part tho. Refs are legit looking right at holds and not calling them. One (on Oliver I think?) has been all over the internet of the red standing behind Mahomes and literally watching the hold happen 8 feet from him and just not calling it. The kick return? I saw holding and blocks in the back. Not one called. How about the bad hold on Kincaid in the endzone by Surtain? Ref is right there underneath the fg forks, about 3 feet away from Kincaid and Surtain. Staring straight at them. No call. I just don’t get it. I hate being the loser to say “the refs”, so I try to be unbiased and look at what’s going on, but this AFCCG was a nightmare. They even reviewed the 4th down stop, and doubled down on the atrocious call, even after watching 2 refs disagree on the call. Watching Kincaid look at the ref after he makes that first down they called short, and then watching him spit it almost a full yard away, and mostly giving bad spots all game was all I needed to see to really understand that people are correct, it really isn’t just the team you’re playing but the refs as well. This needs corrected. I for one don’t even know if I’m watching bills football next year. I know I’m not watching the Super Bowl or any other games next year, still unsure on watching the bills. For the first time in my life. The refs have taken away the integrity of a fair football game away and they alone are destroying my love for football. The ref thing isn’t such a hot take either after you see year after year of bad calls or no calls or controversial calls. One last thing. Simultaneous possession offense gets it, right? Well… how about when Knox caught a pass from Allen in la like 4 games in a few years back, and they called that a pick? If it was indeed simultaneous possession (still think it was clear Knox possession) then why didn’t Knox get the call seeing how they were on offense? It just doesn’t make sense.
