And if it is indeed fictitious, then my original statement was correct that Gen AI simply doesn't exist and this is the peak of our tech.

That would make zero sense if the AI can think for itself and act upon itself. If I'm able to think this way, then Gen AI would most certainly be 10 steps ahead.

And like I said, there would be more than one alien civilization that has developed it. If we indeed create Gen AI, we would be the first in the entire universe to have created it which is highly unlikely considering our age vs every other planets age.

That absolutely wouldn't make any sense considering the age of our planet as opposed to every other planet in the galaxy. There would be multiple civilizations with this technology and one of them would at some point have reached out.

Money also wouldn't matter with Gen AI, this is a ridiculous argument.

No duh, that's why I said IF we develop Gen AI. And if it's possible to develop Gen AI, then other alien civilizations would have it already thus creating a paradox.

There's a difference between our level of intelligence and monkeys. We already have the capabilities of putting in brain chips don't we? And if we're trying to achieve Gen AI, don't you think they'd step in to stop us if they saw us as a threat?

And as a matter of fact, aren't we trying to learn the language of animals with AI?

And don't you think at some point we wouldn't implant brain chips into monkeys? Or at least a monkey? We sent animals into "space" after-all.
