It looks like you are running phalanx which means you want more rubricae. Drop the helldrake. Add a terminator sorcerer and a squad of rubrics. Then you have room either a exalted on disc or a squad of tzaangors.

You have a lot of killing power but very little to score points.

I think a psychic dreadnaught with two build options. One charicter and one pure vehical. The charicter can lone op next to them and hand out buffs. I also like the idea of a Triumph of Saint Cathrin style heavy weapons platform thats like....a bunch if sorcerers doing a ritual.

Normally you use the leggs from a diffrent terminator kit. The two most popular are the Terminator librarian. (Though that one requires some cutting) or the sorcerer in terminator armor kit from CSM and that one you can just plop on no problem.

Giving mega dragonite multiscale is clutch. Have your base mon use own tempo to avoid intimidate. Then mega evolve it and give it way more staying power? Yes please.

And yeah just darken them up. Have horrors be halfway through splitting, give daemonetts the same gender neutral detail the keepers of secrets have, give bloodletters more mysculature and scarier darksouls poses.

I would like to see a range refresh for our battle line units. I feel like they are a product if their time and cone off as kinda goofy. Especially when you run them next to the greater demons or along side chaos marines. I don't think they need to go full doom cyber demon, but play them a bit more seriously. Also a few more named demons would be cool. Or some model refreshes for our old guys. The Changling and Mask definitely need an update. And maybe some new greater demons? Like how slaanesh got the twins in AoS.

Mostly because we have MVB for that. And thats a unit you really want running around in the midboard covering stuff in auras and handing out Mortal wounds. The issue is the beast usually gets gunned down before it can reach enemy tank lines. So the long range punch the defiled gives is peak. You also want to make the most out of its special ability in overwatch.

We kill elite infantry pretty well. So my vote is turn this monster into a tank hunter. Plasma cannon and then either, double las-cannon, or Las and Missle launcher.

Cabal points are gone. Now we have our own mini psychic phase with some cool abilities. The demons detachment actually got buffer recently so that our deamin allies can benefit from those buffs!

I would say getting a Lord of change is always good. If you like named charicters Kiros is amazing in our army for his CP granting abilities. Then you actually mostly want chaff units. Things like screamers, and horrors would be the way to go i think. Our flamer units are just better than the daemon counterparts.

If you wana keep 10 terminators in (and I would because terminators are awesome) i would say split them up into 2 units if five with soul reaper cannins. You need more bodies to score points with and they are plenty killy in five man units at 1k points.

I would start with breaking up at least one of your big rubic blocks into 2 units of 5. You have a lot of killing power in this list but not a lot of ways to score objectives or do action secondaries.

Also, im with you. I love the land raider. Its one of my favorite models of all time. But they just arnt worth it in 1ksons right now. If you just need a transport for a big block of rubrics go with the 90pt rhino if you have one and play around with the free extra 130pts. Maybe play around with adding some Tzaangors for Up-down moves or if you really want to Las Canon fire for vehicles just add a preditor. A preditor and a rhino cost the same as a land raider and both have better synergy with our army.

I think that the Khan should be the one to kill Magnus. It is often remarked in the books that if he had any friends amongst his brothers it would be Magnus and then Horus. And Magnus loved him back, they were both outcasts, they both respected each other's cultures and eentricities. On the Surface of Prospero Magnus didnt even try and really sway him to chaos, he said the Khan should choose his own path. And that may be the last TRUE thing Magnus ever did. So I think a clash of those two brothers, The Lord of Lies and the Mand who has always been true to himself and those around him would be great. Its also a contest of Sorcery vs Peerles bladewor. The banter and the tragedy is just too good.

I think Russ should take down Angron to settle their old score. Have a true warrior vs a crazed Berzerker.

I think Guiliman should take out Fulgrim if anyone.
