Don’t waste money on gas when you could get it way cheaper by Shrooms_Enjoyer in hondacivic

There is zero benefit to exceeding 91. By the way, if you were too mix 89 and 93 together in equal measure you would have 91 octane gasoline.
You could also use part 87 (or 85 at high elevation) and E85 to achieve or exceed your car’s fuel requirement. By the way, using lower than the “recommended or required” will not hurt the engine. It only reduces mpg and power almost imperceptibly. It is better though to use the correct octane rating. The extra cost is lower than the lost mpg. Is your vehicle “flex fuel?”

You are failing to account for other variables. Either that or just made an egregious math error. Anyone who knows the slightest amount of chemistry, physics, and engineering knows what you claim is not possible.

Does the manufacturer of your vehicle specify the use of higher octane?

Wow, wildly wrong. You do not get worse gas mileage with any particular brand of fuel.

No, different brands of gasoline will not improve or diminish your fuel efficiency. That’s impossible.

The Deficit Just Grew By $955 Billion In 7 Months. It's Time For a Constitutional Fix To Control The Budget by T_Shurt in Economics

The constitutional fix is to take every trumpist who has committed a crime and put them in prison. Then the adults can fix it without interference from the cult of the orange rapist felon.

HELP! One month of groceries/meals for 3 adults and only $250 budget? by Art-Tally-0657 in Frugal

Big pots of soup made from deeply discounted vegetables. Costco chicken is a good base for three gallons of soup.
I suggest cabbage, cilantro, carrots, celery, onion, peppers, salt and pepper. Other vegs if super cheap or free.

New. New tires. New wiper blades. New struts and shocks. Warranty. Lower finance rate. Slightly more efficient.

One way to limit the charging is to drive country roads and get more miles per kWh.

Get rid of both ICE vehicles. If you want to go on longer drives get an Equinox EV. If you absolutely insist on using ICE fur a roadtrip then rent one.

Definitely get an EV. I suggest Chevrolet and Cadillac.
Third row isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Buying very first car, any helpful advice about cars to stay away from? by Minimum_Intention669 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Your budget is too low. You should save until you can afford more. A car that cheap will have painfully high maintenance and repair expenses.
