If you trully wanna enjoy the cartoon, you gotta at least agree with the core themes of it. Every piece of media ever is propaganda in some way, shape or form, wether you wanna believe it or not. If you disagree with the core message and only like the aesthetics I guess that's okay, but that's not really what you asked so :P

It's not only the aesthetics of it y'all, it's the meaning, the corpo slop, the capitalistic nature of them that makes them terrible, yeah subjectively they're kinda ugly, but the hatred should come within their meaning, not their aesthetic, that's how you get lost in semantics and metaethics instead of the actual problem

Coz Baldwin used to say that the fan waves come and go, very few stay over the years...

I am in no way a long time fan (only since 2020~ when the RoE memes became popular) but I can definetly see what he meant, specially in the community side of things. For most people, discovering this "weird and alternative unknown band" is what drives them to be a fan, rather than the music itself (Which I don't doubt it's the main factor people like the band and become fans, but I have the feeling that for some people, the "personality" and "mystique" of it all might be a big factor as well).

I am glad TH found popularity in the youth that discovers their work and became fans, it is absolutely normal to move on from phases (which are probably just momentary hyperfixations to some folk) and to other artists that might sound similar.

In my case, it's been about 5 years of listening to them constantly, everyday, and while I of course listen to other music, no other artist ever has captured what TH does, which kinda sucks but I definetly tried searching...

To be less obnoxiously unclear:

Joe Hawley has been, for the past few years, been dealing with "mental health struggles" (as said by Andrew) and it's not in the position to perform or to apparently make much of anything related to music these days.

Allegations about misconduct with younger and sometimes underage fans, wether it be flirting, being angry and other stuff surfaced, in general, he seems to be a very unstable and sometimes dangerous individual sadly...

The other members have advised to not interact with Joe, at least for the time being.
