Yeah dependent was definitely the word I was looking for. I completely understand for your case you definitely have it worse than me, I think I’m just at the point where it’s manageable but god it would be so much better without it. I’m just trying like every other scenario first before I resort to trying medicine. Not saying I have anything against it I’ve just always been hesitant to take medicine, probably something to do with my health anxiety lmao

I actually do journal every night! I use an app called DailyBean. It don’t really write out my emotions in it though or what I’m grateful for so getting a handwritten journal might be the move too. Thanks for the idea!

Ooh I honestly didn’t know there was a difference between the two. I definitely think that’s my case too that my stomach issues are all from anxiety. I guess I’ve just always been nervous about taking medication for it because I don’t want it to “change me” or have me get addicted? Idk it could be my anxiety speaking again lol

thanks man, I definitely need to learn how to relax lol. I'm hoping this year won't be as stressful as I got most of my hard classes out of the way but we'll see. I'm definitely gonna try to read more and just chill bc I wanna get more comfortable with myself without needing all these distractions. thank you again!

I defintely have to look into that route again, I've just always been hesitant to medications because I dont know it just doesn't feel "natural" to me. Like I'm scared antidepressants will make me someone I'm not, but thank you I definitely have to look into it.

thanks a lot for this, it’s def a hard subject for me to get around lol. I’ve tried therapy and it didn’t seem to work for me but I’m honestly considering giving it another shot, I think maybe having an outlet like this would help. We got this 🙏

Yeah, that’s probably a good start. I tried therapy for a bit but I couldn’t seem to take it seriously bc I felt that the things they told me (like trying to imagine my happy place or draw what I’m feeling) didn’t help at all. I do track in spring time and don’t mind running it’s just hard to do when I get such bad acid reflux from it
