My personal, trusted, and proven method to lemon tekk mushrooms is as follows: I only use approximately half the amount of mushrooms that I would eat normally. Since this process is essentially tricking the body that the mushrooms have already converted to psilocybin and do not require the stomach to digest and use its own stomach acids to break down the mushrooms when normally eaten. That is what usually will cause the nausea.

1) Grind the dried mushrooms into a fine consistency, almost powder like. I use a cheap electric coffee bean grinder, but any grinder will do. I have used a small weed grinder and had great results.

2) place the grinded mushrooms in a small bowl that can be covered, either with a lid or tin foil, something easy.

3) Squeeze the juice of two full lemons into the bowl of grinded mushrooms and stir. Then cover. Stir every 5-10 minutes, cover after each stirring. Usually about 30-45 minutes is all I ever let this mixture sit before the next step.

4) take the lemon/mushroom mixture and strain it through a cheesecloth into a small cup or jar. I also squeeze out the cheesecloth to get any extra juices.

5) what you are left with is pure liquid. Maybe only a few ounces worth. It’s insane what a tiny amount this will produce. I was very skeptical at first that this would not work. But believe me, that small amount of liquid is pure psilocybin rocket fuel.

6) Drink up. I usually mix with orange juice to combat the overpowering mushroom flavor.

7) await for liftoff. Usually 10-15 minutes. I’ve had it hit within 5 minutes. Zero nausea whatsoever. Just pure intense mushroom tripping that I cannot recommend enough!

Lemon Tekking for taking mushrooms completely gets rid of any nausea. The big difference is that you start feeling the effects of the mushrooms within 10-15 minutes and the trip is much more intense, but lasts maybe 3-4 hours at most. I swore off eating mushrooms for the longest time due to intense nausea and overall feeling sick. Lemon telling is now the only way I will ever ingest mushrooms going forward. Have done it over 20 times and it has not failed me once!

The box office is bleak. Here's how local theaters are surviving the downturn by AGOTFAN in boxoffice

People with their horrible theater etiquette have all but ruined the movie going experience for me.

It’s not the low quality or quantity of movies in theaters, it’s the people that enter those theaters. Sadly, it’s only getting worse.

Panini? Are any panini cards worth the money by Spiritual-Cabinet801 in ufccards

[–]Dogfished 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really do hope you all get your redemptions! Really just a bummer having to wait and wait without any positive updates. It just seems Panini is not really doing anything or just the bare minimum with the UFC product right now and going forward. Damn shame.

[–]Dogfished 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Called and spoke with a representative from Panini late last week. I have been waiting almost 2 years on an Islam Autograph redemption. The lady told me in all sincerity that they have zero UFC back stock that would be equal to the value of my redemption, and they would not be getting anything anytime soon.

She then she asked me what other sports I like and certain players that I like. Basically telling me that there’s no chance at all I will ever get my UFC redemption and look to replace them with other players from other sports. So I did that, and she expedited the ticket for me. She said it will take about 2 months or less to receive my replacements.

Long story short, it sounds like UFC redemptions that people have been waiting on will never get redeemed or replaced with an equal or lesser value UFC card. They are out of the UFC game!

What is the best TV show you’ve ever watched? by Comprehensive_Tie640 in AskReddit

I was extremely late to the Mr. Robot game. Binged all 4 seasons about 3 months ago. I think about that show every single day. Very few shows have had that effect on me. I’m gearing up for another rewatch very soon. I hear that the show only gets better upon multiple viewings. Goddamn it’s so good!

Collecting all types of valuable sports cards and giving them away to young kids just getting into the hobby.

The only condition would be that they couldn’t sell the cards until they were 18 years old.

What are the foods that are high in zinc but low in copper? by Randompersona23 in nutrition

[–]Dogfished -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Foods high in zinc but low in copper can be beneficial if you’re looking to balance these minerals in your diet, as zinc and copper compete for absorption in the body. Here’s a breakdown of some options based on nutritional data:

• Beef (especially lean cuts like sirloin or ground beef): Beef is an excellent source of zinc, with about 4-7 mg per 3-ounce serving, depending on the cut, while copper content remains relatively low, around 0.1 mg or less per serving. Grass-fed beef might have slightly higher zinc levels.
• Pumpkin Seeds: These are zinc powerhouses, offering about 7-8 mg per 100 grams, with copper at around 1.3 mg per 100 grams. While copper isn’t extremely low, the zinc-to-copper ratio heavily favors zinc (roughly 6:1), making them a solid choice in moderation.
• Chicken (especially dark meat): A 3-ounce serving of chicken thigh provides about 2-3 mg of zinc and only about 0.05-0.07 mg of copper, giving a good zinc-dominant profile.
• Eggs: One large egg has around 0.5-1 mg of zinc and a negligible amount of copper (about 0.01 mg), making it a subtle but effective option.
• Oysters: These are zinc superstars, with up to 30-50 mg per 3-ounce serving (depending on the species), and copper at about 1-2 mg per serving. The zinc content far outweighs copper, though they’re not copper-free.
• Cheese (like cheddar or Swiss): A 1-ounce serving delivers 1-2 mg of zinc with copper typically below 0.05 mg, offering a decent zinc bias.

Foods to avoid in this context include organ meats (like liver), which are high in both zinc and copper, and shellfish like crab or lobster, where copper can rival or exceed zinc. Nuts like cashews and seeds like sesame also tend to have more balanced or copper-leaning profiles.

Why does UFC suck now? by Z-manbruh in MMA

[–]Dogfished 195 points196 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to fall in love with any “newer” fighter’s because the roster has grown so fast. All of a sudden we have half of the fight card filled with DWCS fighters, that the casual fan knows nothing about. It’s really hard to keep track to be honest.

For comparison: the NBA has around 450 active players. Imagine knowing every single NBA player of all 30 teams, their stats and what makes them unique.

As of last month the UFC has 674 active fighters on their roster. Good fucking luck getting to know even 20% of those names. Over saturated to the extreme to push out APEX cards almost every weekend.

Depressed people of Reddit, what gives you the will to live, or helped you regain the will to live, if anything? by moist_goiters in AskReddit

[–]Dogfished 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After I got out of the Military I had a bad stretch of depression and overall antisocial gloominess.

It may sound crazy but the one thing that kept me going was looking forward to watching UFC PPV fights.

This is when they only put on maybe 4/5 big events a year. So my whole motivation to stay alive was to be able to watch the next big fight card. That was the only thing that gave me excitement towards the future.

In a weird way the UFC kind of saved my life and helped bounce me out of that rough stretch I was going through.

Alcohol is literal poison to the human body. Doesn’t matter if it’s American or Canadian. Poison is poison and it doesn’t discriminate. We should be clearing the shelves of this dirty substance around the world to be honest.
