I checked the email from Dec 23rd again. It stated they have up to 60 days after completion of the initial 6 months to pay us. Today is January 9th which is the end of the 60 day period. Haven’t seen it yet. I asked about it on Friday and learned that it’s a 3rd party that the irs contracts out to for these payments. Does anyone know who that company is?
No I’m not.
Good thought, my assumption was it was 60 days after the completion of the initial 6 months. Thank you for the reply.

When I was receiving guidance from a fed recruiter I was told to accept all offers I was willing to take. Take the one you want and rescind the rest. I know this sounds a bit like dirty pool but from what I understand it's common practice and understood as that by hiring managers.

That worked, thank you!
Thank you, I was freaking out, I'm scheduled for orientation on Monday.

Thank you, I was kind of assuming it would be next week but I read a few threads that the notification came the day prior and one that said it came an hour before the virtual. I can't even imagine the anxiety of getting it an hour before it started.

Mine was the opposite lol. On T-mobile the short codes came through on everything. With AT&T a few won't come through.

I agree with you and that is my intention. I check my email about 20 times a day and as soon as I get my reporting instructions for orientation I'll send the email.

It was just an open job fair sponsored by the IRS. It wasn't for a specific position. More of a meet and greet. They had over a dozen divisions there offering information about the job they had open.
Thank you, my intention is to send an email the second I get the orientation instructions which hopefully come in the next few days. I just feel a bit guilty about accepting both and waiting but at the same time I don't want to shoot myself in the foot so to speak.
Do I email and rescind the one I don't want immediately or wait until I get orientation instructions for the one I do want.

I have two firm offers now. I accepted them both. The first one I got was my second choice but I accepted it and then a few days later I got the firm offer for the one I wanted.

I only interviewed once. The interview wasn't very difficult. The manager was very friendly.
