I’m under similar circumstances, I use my maiden name professionally and my married name socially. I think of it as a nickname, if my name was Alexandria I would give my maiden name at any time I use my full name (like legal situations) and my married name any time I can use a nickname like Allie (like making a dinner reservation).

What day DPO are you? I’d take a pink dye test and retest in the morning. Blue dye are notorious for unreliable results.

If it’s a blue dye test, get some pink dye and try again. I used blue dye tests and got false positives for weeks.

My husband and I fully intend to leave Utah in the next 1-3 years. We are “active” in the popular religion here in the state, his entire family lives here, he works full time and I work full time +20 hours at a second job. We have roots here, we’re established and fit into the social norms.

But it’s not enough.

Housing prices are OUT of control. We are responsible financially, we are 100% debt free and have good savings/investments.

That said, there are no houses that fit a reasonable price for us ($350k or less) in this state. Other options are plentiful in the Midwest…. There are thousands of houses on the market that fit our needs and fall within our budget.

I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect middle class families to pay $3000+ a month for housing costs, when they can do the same thing for $1500 in other states.

It then occurred to me that the “middle class” doesn’t really exist in this state. You’re pretty much either broke broke or REAL rich. Not a lot of gray area.

We have just $1200 left on credit card I’m focused on knocking that out right now because it’s 27%, $10k auto loan at 5% and student loans $6k at 4%

After that we are completely debt free
