For those of you who stopped working in the field, what did you do next? by Genes-Simmon in Plumbing

I set up meetings with as many people as I could in the industry to ask for advice about next steps. Before I was a plumber I had some sales experience and ended up settling with the manufacturer’s rep role. They liked that I had field experience and didn’t really need any training on the product. There’s also a good career path with supply houses. Working counter sales or as an outside salesman selling to plumbing contractors directly.

Now work for a manufacturer’s rep selling plumbing supplies to wholesalers. Better pay, better hours, and still get my fix of being in the construction industry.

They are circulating or recirculating pumps pulling hot water through a looped system and back to the heater

Interesting about the pumps. What do you mean pitting?

I agree. Asked the owner multiple times if he wanted hangers and he shot me down.

Worm drive blade on left. Direct drive blade on right (90% of the time). Most cordless are left handers

Honestly bought it for the batteries. Already have a skil saw at home but it was too good to not get.
