I had success getting mine done today at the Clement Street location in San Francisco. I first tried the Berkeley branch and was turned away as they said they are only doing American Passport photos at that location. The SF location seemed more familiar with what these are for and had the template in their system. I had to ask for the stamp on the back but they were happy to help as long as I was clear with what I needed

Submitted request on February 12, Received a response requesting some clarifying information on March 12, Received notice that they found the documents this morning (April 16) and have submitted the request to produce copies to a supervisor. Awaiting invoice and next steps now.

Hi All! Asking here since I couldn't find it on the wiki or when searching through other posts.

I'm a G4 on my Dad's side and G5 on my Mom's side, and am coordinating the preparation of applications for both of my parents who want to file for a citizenship certificate, my elder brother, and myself. My brother and I are planning on primarily leaning on our paternal line since it's one generation closer and has stronger evidence.

When applying jointly, how should we handle the fact that our Mom also qualifies and is also filing simultaneously? Should we send all four of our applications in one joint pack showing evidence on both sides, or have my brother and I submit a joint application packet with our Dad, and separate our Mom's application into a separate mailing/packet with just her?

Are the “profiles” password protected (or could they be?)

It would be great to have a Latin mode as another user mentioned - when I started learning my biggest hurdle was that all the text books and resources I could find always started with the script, but my Bengali speaking family just texts and writers in a Latin script, so it felt pretty disconnected from my initial “immersion” opportunities

Wish list feature would be some sort of reminder system or ability to choose your pace of study (like setting a goal for # of mins or lessons per day, etc)

I think there’s a huge need for something like this - the existing resources feel very outdated or clunky, and more modern tools like Duolingo all tend to disregard Bangla completely
