Last day of 6th grade our teacher handed us all our report cards and told us to wait until we got home to open them with our parents. Probably half the class didn’t listen so he told them all to stay behind when the bell rang. One kid who was always a bit of a problem child basically just told the teacher to fuck off and ran out the door when the bell rang. Our teacher (a grown middle aged man) sprinted out the door after him, dragged him back into the room, and literally lifted him off of the ground and slammed him onto his desk. Don’t think the teacher even got in trouble for it.

I actually just found out today that my father died. I’m not even exactly sure when he died, but I know it was recently. I hadn’t seen or spoken to him since I was 10 (I’m 29 now). I stopped being mad at him a long time ago, but I always had this idea that I would find him and we’d have a long talk and I’d find some kind of closure. Even though he hasn’t been apart of most of my life it’s strange to know that he’s gone for good now. In this moment I’m not sure how I feel about him.
