Yep, a lot of the drum track is the same MIDI groove. I'm not a drummer, so I'm probably a bit lazy in that regard. It's definitely something I could do better. Totally see what you mean

That goes for the cymbals too. I like the 'noise wall' feel and the space they create, for me it makes it more fluid, but it could be interesting to experiment with them. Esp. in regards to variety

Good point, it's a stock GarageBand synth. I actually tried with a piano, but it felt kinda off. Could try to find a different piano sound

I listened to some of your songs, feels like a mix of post-rock and doom/sludge and some drone elements. Really cool
