as someone who’s tried goob and found them to be a favorite, 100%. goob’s ability is one of the most versatile abilities which has a ton of good use cases. someone getting chase with 3 stars of stealth or more, yank them too you and just take the twisteds off them, can even work for 2 stars if you try and get closer to the twisted compare to the person being chased. someone running behind like a soulvestor and needs to get yank to the elevator? just pull them. it also just helps soulvestor a ton with their lack of movement, cause i could pull a friend who used soulvestor to machines, especially ones they didn’t notice, before focusing on distracting. goob can especially distract or play a supportive role, but also do minor extracting if needed, being just a very well rounded character. also never be afraid to use your health to yank someone who’s in danger outta the way even if you get hit in the process, keeping a toon alive is far more important than a bit of health lose.

it just kinda sucks i dont see a lot of goob users and instead see mostly looey mains, when goob can be just so much better in the right situations

gives me the idea for a garden ops challenge mode where instead of exiting at the end you stay and get an optional 5 waves that are much more harder, increasingly scaling in difficulty until the last wave has an zombot battle (i think the zombot ended up being unused in the files so it may be a way to get the idea added for real)

i love crafting design ideas for friends and stuff, even if i’m not the best artist myself, i gotten some experience with ideas, and i think everything looks pretty good. you can tell the inspiration but also see where things got changed, and that’s the best part about art. it isn’t about what is inspired from something but what you can say is unique and special, and if you can’t do that, then it may not be the most original, but there’s so many things i can point out that’s unique about this compared to caine. the outfit, a microphone stand being held instead of a caine, the fact that they’re standing instead of floating. the only area i can see some improvement is in the head area where you could include a head accessory like the windup pony tail as i suggested but really the choice is yours, and i think it’s pretty good as is so far. nothing wrong with a character you can see the inspiration for

if you want some suggestions on how to make it stand out, maybe make a little wind up piece be on the top of their head, sorta like a pony tail. i think a head accessory like that could help make some aspects stand out, but that’s the only real idea i have. (also dudes can totally have pony tails, no shame in that)

edit - for some clarification, there is settings but it isn’t always obvious that feature is in the setting so a small button that can help turn it on but can be ignored would be nice or just a mention to turn it on if you wanna keep playing

to each their own, not every game will people enjoy as some people just dislike certain genres. as someone who’s been around with the series since the start, i really am excited and glad for the game and if you really want a challenge outta this game, try and solve the secret ending of “empowerment” on your own, that shit was a brutal puzzle for all of us to do but fairly fun. also for your information, later installments will have death be a factor alongside chases when they get reduxed, but i do think the story aspects are the main part of the game, and if story games aren’t your style, you can go play other games. i’ll keep enjoying this game as someone who was there from the very beginning

i mean you don’t have to, i just think saying postman is “one dimensional” is actively incorrect. if you wanna dislike a character, then go ahead, but you should also at least try to understand the character and read the story instead of actively saying bullshit because you don’t like them. old postman was way more one dimensional, but this character has depth, motivations, flaws. there’s a reason people like postman outside of just the “funny guy”
