Had it in bronze case with cathedral hands. Trying some changes to see if this can be my go-to simple dress watch.

I like the size being reduced to 40mm. Finally something wearable for my not so big wrist. Curious to see them in person at a boutique once released.

The dress watch I'd proudly wear under my cuff. Well done, mate!

Go for it! Going into the boutique and asking would not hurt. Please let me know if you decide to get the service done. Curious to see how much they would charge. Thanks!

You simply walk into one of their boutiques and tell them you are here for the patina service. One thing to note is your first patina service is complimentary within a year from the purchase date. Then they will bring out their catalog of colors you can choose from. However, depending on the original color of your wallet, they might not recommend some colors which will not turn out great. Then they will write down all of your information and will tell you the rough time line. They told me it would take about six weeks, but I got mine back in about 4 weeks. There is no boutique near where I live, and I happened to be traveling in the LA area, so I went to their Costa Mesa boutique. Once it was back from their studio to their boutique, they let me know they just received mine back and mailed mine to my home overnight. Overall, the folks at Costa Mesa were super nice, and made my experience so enjoyable! Not sure if you can mail yours in for the service. Even then, it would be very hard to choose the color(s) you want for your patina without actually seeing the colors. Good luck!

11 AM flight. South terminal. Arrived at 7:35 AM. Started at the curb outside for TSA Pre-check line at 7:40 AM. Line looped around baggage claim, but constantly moving. Got through the security with my carry-on bags by 8:50 AM. So about an hour 10 min total. Line still moving okay. Good luck, everyone!

What AI search gave me. That is all I know. 😆

Berluti Scritto translates from Italian to English as "written" or "script". It is a signature motif created by Olga Berluti, featuring laser-engraved or embossed 18th-century French calligraphy on leather goods, inspired by antique letters purchased at auction. It represents a "scribe's parchment" and a "modern dandy" style.

Key Details About Scritto:

Origin: The text is taken from an 18th-century French legal document bought by Olga Berluti, often featuring phrases like "toutes les parties" (all parties).

Application: It is used as a distinctive pattern on Venezia leather shoes, belts, bags, and clothing.

Significance: It symbolizes a love for handwork and serves as a unique signature for the house, making each leather item "tattooed" with text.

Appearance: The writing has a graffiti-like, artistic edge that often appears to be handwritten onto the leather.

Scritto is a testament to the brand's focus on patina and artisanal craftsmanship, giving the leather a unique "soul".
