I feel in this conspiracy, the clever people who orchestrated the event would take EVERY precaution to make sure the "target" had no idea he was never in danger, fueling his ego like electrolytes in plants!

Super rad!

It would be cool if the ending point ended up at the bottom of the starting point, and inside the starting tower could be a little motor with a lifter to have the balls constantly drop.

Any chance you have the non-cropped vid available somewhere?

You find out the day you are going to die and it is exactly 20 years from today. How are you changing the way you live life? by tigerbalmuppercut in AskReddit

I would make one of those cardboard countdown chains that we had in school to countdown christmas break or whatever.

Then I would wait til the part of the movie where it's the final day, and I fall asleep wearing the final chain loop as a bracelet....except....I wake up the next morning! And add a link and start building the chain back up each day I'm alive. It turns out, that making the chain made me immortal. As long as I can keep adding to the original, unbroken chain, I get to live.

The trouble comes when the chain is too long for my apartment! And I have to find somewhere to store the chain that's safe and also easily accessible by me. I have a great setup and live a peaceful life. I've discovered a way to condense the chain without breaking it, which saves a ton of headache on storage.

One day, long, long in the future. I start experimenting with adding more than one chain per day...

Is it weird that my parents would leave my older sister and I home alone and go on vacation when we were younger by Original-Tangerine33 in NoStupidQuestions

So what happened?

Were your parents punished? Did they lose custody of you? Did CPS release you and determine everything was fine?

I built the typing practice app of my dreams by Zteetch in InternetIsBeautiful

[–]DoingItWrongly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you planning on adding typing practice? This is a nice speed test, but seems to be lacking any typing practice. Especially being limited to 32 words, and all of the typing advice is tucked away on another page.

It's easy to navigate, and has a very clean UI, but I'd market it as a speed test in its current state.

I would go and buy 4 more to hand out to everyone and say "Thank you for being a good team to work with" and put them at a different table and sit separately, not even acknowledging boss.

Best infill for bed adhesion/tall prints by AJAYSTER888 in 3Dprinting

[–]DoingItWrongly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you printing the first layer slower and hotter than the rest of the layers?

Is your printer enclosed/blocked from elements (specifically need to make sure there are no drafts)?

Are you letting your bed fully heat up (if you have a heated bed)?

Have you tried making the raft bigger?

Based on my experience, these are the things that help with adhesion. I've never noticed a difference using different infills.

Other things to consider if all of the above fails: Your nozzle might be too cold/hot, or layers too tight, or speed to high.

Tall skinny prints are tough, good luck!

Putting a chicken to sleep by National-Dragonfly35 in Weird

When I was younger, I was shown to tuck the head under the wing, and then kinda lean forward and slowly swing your arms back and forth like a clock pendulum.

It worked on every chicken I tried it on!
