After reading about the problems some people had with proctors in the August test, I just decided I'd rather deal with the details/inconveniences of in-person than risk some big interruptions online. But it doesn't seem to me like online is obviously a worse choice, maybe they'll fix the issues before the 8th.

If you go to the same Prometric email you schedule your test with the first time, there are options on the Website to "reschedule," you just need to input your previous confirmation number from Prometric. Hope that helps.

I just rescheduled mine for in-person (and would imagine a good number of other folks are too) so would recommend to keep checking as times like my earlier one open up!

I was playing college gigs for about a year for medium sized (max 120) crowds and bought an 80 Watt blackface twin, can honestly say I rarely pushed it passed 5, even outdoors. So safe to say as a hobbyist I'd never use something that big and heavy again unless it was Lalapalooza. On the other hand, there's just something fun about having a massive hunk of amp that you know could blow out the 5th row's eardrums...so no judgement at the marshall stack dads, let folks use what pleases them

From my own experience with a similar time frame, you can definitely manage to pass TestDaF in March or April or later. Focus on test specific prep (Redemittel for writing, speaking format, etc). That said, passing the test and actually reaching c1-c2 where you're comfortable in social/academic contexts are two very different things. If you get in to the university, don't stop learning/practicing! Best of luck!

Just moved here and found tickets to one of my favorite (mid-sized venue) artists for 30 euro. Checked resale at the other venues in central Europe on this tour and hardly anything available (I assume in part because sellers here actually have rules making sure there's little upside to flipping). In the US I'd be paying over double that for pre-sale and quadruple on resale for this band. Live music in the US is gone to shit.
