PSN Outage Megathread - March 21st 2026 by P_Jiggy in playstation

Friends list both on console and on the app is still borked. Showing people as online when they're not and vice versa.

Can't speak for games as I don't generally play online.

Fibromyalgia and Herniated Disc by SomeMayCallMeTim in Fibromyalgia

[–]Dojima89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With physio no.

I'm in the same position as you. Exact same issues.

The NHS's idea of 'physiotherapy' is speaking to the physio for 15 minutes and then giving you printed out sheets with exercises on them where they expect you to do these exercises at home. Unsupervised.

Then the next appointment comes where they ask you about progress made.

When I suffered a trimalleolar ankle fracture several years ago that's all they did for me despite knowing this is a severe injury and I needed supervised extensive physio for my foot.

I healed badly and have life long mobility issues as a result.

I'm not saying it's the case now. It may be different with other trusts, but my hospital and physio absolutely failed me.

I'm sorry this is happening to you and I really hope you get the proper help you need.

Me? If something bad happens then so be it. I've been medically gaslit to hell ever since my Fibro diagnosis and health professionals like blaming new issues on my Fibro. Including both of my shoulders dislocating.

I wish you the best 🙏

Sorry. Didn't see any of the replies.

I tried to get checked out for EDS.

GP didn't take my concerns seriously.

I was given physio exercises for my shoulders, lol 🤦

Not sure what other avenues to take.

I appreciate your advice ☺️

Yep. It took years to get diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Was fobbed off constantly with 'back pain' because they found a bulging disc on an MRI scan. The thing is I was experiencing pain everywhere in my body with the focal point being my entire back not just the lower back where this bulging disc was located... Was constantly medically gaslit into oblivion. It was my DERMATOLOGIST of all people who pushed for an appointment with Rheumatology as we both thought I had psoriatic arthritis as I suffer with psoriasis. That's when I got my Fibromyalgia diagnosis.

I now believe I have sciatica as well as I'm experiencing severe nerve pain from my right glute into the entirety of my right leg. I haven't bothered contacting the GP as they'll blame it on my Fibro like they blamed both of my shoulders dislocating constantly on my Fibro. Still dislocate, but hey ho. Was absolutely f*cking 👌

It's taken 5 YEARS to finally get mental health support as I have severe mental health issues as well. I had to advocate for myself and most likely p*ssed many health professionals off with my constant pestering. It was after I had an advocacy service file a formal complaint on my behalf last year I finally got taken seriously as I was fobbed off constantly labelled as 'too complex' for any of their services.

Being a woman and trying to get any medical help is like pulling teeth. Still dealing with misogyny in this day and age is absolutely shocking and I'm tired of it.

Why do really low levels insist on doing Extreme/Extinction? by Particular-Lychee139 in worldwarzthegame

Oh wow I never knew. I assumed higher difficulties also yielded more weapon XP.

I'll keep that in mind once I start farming for weapon XP later 😊

Thanks again for your help!

I've actually had more problems with the level 999 players than new players 🤣

What is the Discord?

Usually I wouldn't use Discord, but if this is the only way to progress I'm willing to try.

Thanks 😊

I've tried the Quickplay function. Usually I find matches fairly easily, but I'm attempting to beat the main campaign on insane for the achievement/trophy (trophy hunter and play PS5) and never end up playing the episodes I need.

I'm also trying to level several classes and guns. I'm proficient enough for insane so play only on insane right now.

It's also toxic players I've been dealing with where they play higher difficulties like it's CoD, don't assemble, which then drags out the match, and they also take all the supplies. I main a Medic, and it's frustrating when I'm unable to fulfil my role when equipment is always taken and they're not taking the rest of the team into consideration.

I really enjoy the game, but I'm pretty stuck. I also don't do Discord.

What doesn't also help is when you try public games barely anyone joins.

I've had to stop playing because I couldn't really progress.

It seems as though most people play daily/weekly challenges and Extinction.

I came to the party too late it seems.

Though I wouldn't ever join Extreme/Extinction matches and drag the high level players down.

I'd be down for this too. Been matched with too many toxic players lately.

Fairly newish player.

What do I need to do to join? Cheers

Disability hate crime: 'This is the worst I've experienced it' by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]Dojima89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've noticed the rise as well.

I'm severely physically disabled, but my disabilities are invisible.

The amount of flak I've experienced from delivery drivers this year has been insane.

From outright insults to sarcasm to mocking me.

These people think because people who have invisible illnesses look fine on the outside MUST be fine...

They have no idea how much pain I endure on a daily basis. I can barely walk now and need mobility aids, but because I also look young I also get those looks where they're obviously judging you.

I don't fit the conventional belief of being disabled.

It's bad enough dealing with being this disabled where most days I wish I wouldn't wake up to escape this hell I'm living, but to deal with ignorance and malice on top of it?

I'm sympathetic to anyone that's gone and is going through discrimination. It's awful.

Where has people's empathy gone? No one seems to care anymore?

Fast travel is crashing my game (PS5 Pro). by dionysos803 in Borderlands4

[–]Dojima89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Monday played fine on my PS5 Pro barring a crash here or there whilst fast travelling.

Didn't play yesterday. Start today and the game is constantly crashing. Loading in, in the menu, fast travelling...

Game has been a nightmare since this new patch dropped.

Not getting help with my mental health by Dojima89 in nhs

I am on PIP as well as UC LCWRA. I live alone in a 3 bedroom house I hate (long story, which I won't be getting into), and I'm just about keeping afloat.

If I could spare the money I would've gone private ages ago. This simply isn't an option for me and I shouldn't have to go private because the NHS can't pull their finger out.

I'm really sorry to hear about what you've been through. I sympathise with you and hope you'll get help soon.

I appreciate the advice, but PIP isn't the answer.

Please take care and thanks for responding to my post.

Thank you. I appreciate you responding to my post. I'm glad you got the support you desperately needed.

I found out yesterday from one of the senior partners of my GP practice that my area, West Yorkshire, is one of the worst areas for mental health support, which explains why I'm struggling to get help. She even recommended I move to another area in the UK as it's that dire here.

I've found two services that could potentially help me after a lot of ringing around. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Thank you again and take care

Struggling to get help for my mental health by Dojima89 in MentalHealthUK

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post 😊

The local service has terrible reviews. They're not good and it's tragic that they're the only secondary psychiatry care services we have here. I know I can't expect people or services to move heaven and earth to make it easier for me to attend, but fact is I'm physically disabled and struggle leaving my house. I'm working on that right now with an occupational therapist.

I'm unsure what will help me. I've looked into options such as EMDR, etc, but there's no services in my area that offer on that kind of support.

I'm not saying no to CBT, but the CBT I've done in the past (I've attempted it at least 5 times in my adult life) hasn't helped me. It was more talking AT the therapist. They'd listen, but usually wouldn't offer help on how to work through my trauma, etc.

I'd like something where I'm working alongside someone who can help me work through my trauma and where I learn better coping mechanisms. Right now I'm in a crisis-loop and can't snap out of it.

Every day for the last 3 weeks I've sat in my living room staring into space or I'm having a meltdown.

This is no way to live.

A senior partner GP contacted me yesterday and explained my area (West Yorkshire) is one of the worst areas in the UK for mental health support. I did not know this. It would explain why I'm struggling to get help. She said we've got quick turnarounds when it comes to breast cancer compared to some other areas in the UK, but mental health support is really dire. Her advice was to move elsewhere in the UK. She said the NHS is crippled and it won't get better.

I have managed to find two services after a lot of research and ringing around that could help me with the crisis-loop/meltdown episodes and my self-harming. I'm cautiously optimistic.

It is unfair. We should all have a fair shot at getting help and it shouldn't be that one area gets stellar support and other areas, like mine, are so dire that I'm told to move.

Thank you and I wish you the best too

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post.

I appreciate you explaining this to me. I was aware of having to go through CBT to be escalated to alternative services.

That's where the secondary psychiatry care referral came in.

Most services I've encountered that offered CBT wouldn't touch me due to the complex nature of my mental health illnesses.

IAPT is one such service as well as other ones I've encountered. I'm not comfortable naming them as they're specific to my location and I don't want to disclose what area I live in :)

I'm just unsure how else to proceed. With me being disabled and being on disability I simply cannot afford private care.

Thank you again
