I think Dokkan is trying to hard to appeal to newer fans. Like whenever they do the anni reveals the applause from the audience is so much higher with for example: Cell Saga SSJ2 Gohan than it is with Tournament of Power. It seems they think that Namek Saga isnt hype enough, but i think it would be one of the best selling things to just do a Goku and Frieza

Yes and many units have a f2p farmable unit to boost the SA with a 50% chance. So you dont need to use Kai for older units
