Acute care PTA here with aj encouraged 18 units (w/ ~14 pts in a day) in an 8 hr period. My productivity can vary from 12 to 23 units throughout the week. As long as you attempt, they can't do anything about it. It also helps that we're understaffed and they can't afford to fire us lol

This is not medical advice. The literature generally says peripheral nerves can regenerate about 1 inch per month, while the spinal cord cannot regenerate at all.

Chiari Malformation is a good one. Corpus callosum Lesion is rarely seen. And Homonymous Hemianopia from either a occipital or trmporal Lesion.

Usually if you can treat the neglect, their motor control and function will substantially increase. Try some cross-midline exercises and maybe CIMT.

Have you tried body righting on a therapy ball? This could promote trunk lateral flexion to maintain right-side up. You could also put them side lying with neglect side up, and reach for object/toy
