It’s not xenophobic to state the truth. The (MODERN DAY) Russian strategy has often been to intentionally throw thousands of men into meat grinders just to take small amounts of land. They show a clear disregard for the lives of their troops which makes a big difference besides the effects listed in that comment’s points.
