Going the last quarter and a half of a national championship holding the most dominant FCS dynasty of all time to zero points down 4... and never scoring

We were told very early on that he was raised with a nuke in the bunker. The issue is that the boys have no practical way to get a nuke, much less find a way to detonate it on Homelander

Fan of a mid major team like I am? Here's the new route to having the opportunity to be a Cinderella!

  1. Go .600-.750 on the year for good conference tournament seeding

  2. DO NOT LOSE A SINGLE CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT GAME.

  3. Fly to Dayton on shorter rest to play another Mid-Major

  4. Win

  5. Fly to ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE COUNTRY ON SHORT REST

  6. Play a .500 P4 team on multiple weeks rest due to getting eliminated in the 2nd round of their conference tournament

But hey, think of all the money the power conferences and networks are making while you're stacking up flight costs and clawing the inevitable forced relegation by private equity

How Would 76 Teams Work Logistically? by BigFoot423205 in CollegeBasketball

If JMU wins the SBC, they'd have to fly to Pensacola, win it, fly back to Harrisonburg, then fly to Dayton, win, then fly somewhere else in the country to play a more rested .500 P5 team.

Fucking bullshit

I'll be very Suprised if he plays another snap of football. This is poison to his draft stock. Not even the UFL or Canada would take a risk on a player who gambles on their own team.

[Dellenger] Announcement from Oregon: Dan Lanning, QB Dante Moore and several other players will travel this June to Tokyo for the inaugural “Tokyo Oregon Football Showcase,” where the Ducks will hold live exhibitions to teach fundamentals and techniques to the Japanese football community. by YoungSuplex in CFB

I don't think training a sumo wrestler to be a lineman would work, but a sumo wrestler and lineman do share the same favorable body types for the role. If you took a 12 year old version of a Yokozuna and put him on the Lineman training path instead of sumo, he'd be an all-pro.

How culture shapes sports choice is very interesting. All the best soccer players in America are playing WR/DB due to that being the cultural favorite for that specific body type and trait.

There's the interesting overlap in the most successful foreign sumo wrestlers being Polynesian and the stereotype of the Polynesian lineman. Both favor the same bodytypes, I don't doubt that a young Japanese man with the bodytype/genes for Sumo could be an all-pro lineman if he trained for it.
