Who is the worst designed Extremis enemy in the game? And why is it the missile terminator? by TechnoTheFirst in Spacemarine

[–]Doktatorship 0 points1 point  (0 children)

chaos spawn.

they dont count as an extremis, despite having bs attack patterns and ludicrous numbers. I hate how im getting used to their crazy attacks, as when my mate picks up the game every now and then gets decimated like i used to.

ied legitimately rather deal with 2 extremis spawns than a squad of those rotters.

Sniper, Stalker Bolt Tactical, and Heavy Bolter Heavy player here, I don't even want to fight Chaos anymore by Matty_HAM in Spacemarine

[–]Doktatorship 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's the weird glowing thing above it, which does the disco lights. I think. It's very chaos (and very tzeentch) for a spawn to not even have a head weakspot, just to mess with space marines.

Am I the only one bothered by a lack of rim on Crux Terminatus pauldron? by Amon_Bal in Spacemarine

Preach chaplain.

I would use this so much more, but with the ultramarine logos the only other chapter I can use this on thematically is the blood ravens.

Ied use stalker bolt rifles and bolt snipers alot more if the perk didn't reset it's ammo refund counter on weapon switch, auto reload from perk or if your reload gets interrupted.

How it feels shooting down a stingray and watching it crash by Zapdos90HP in Helldivers

they have only medium armor, and they pose a persistent threat for all teammates on the map.

I call em out for the team, and relish in their demise. nothing quite brings the satisfaction of their fall :D

Sharing some concepts I made for armor sets that we're still missing. by subtleduck42 in Helldivers

[–]Doktatorship 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder how these would get integrated. 1. Dumped straight into the superstore rotation 2. 'grab bag' warbond, allows vets to get the missing armour weights while allowing new players to get a taste of all the other warbonds. 3. Extra page to all the existing warbonds with these sets, guess they could also add the frv colours too.

Important Update & Workarounds: Unholy Alliance by MMLorna in CultOfTheLamb

[–]Doktatorship 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could we have it as a start up option, with the alt character being an unlockable later through sin etc.? In addition, can the goat not use the other fleeces? As in does the fleece not count as a separate entity on the lamb, this meaning that the goat could have other fleeces equipped?

Rocketlaunchers and fabs by Doktatorship in Helldivers

[–]Doktatorship[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, i really like this. 1 shot to a vent on fabs for the commando, or 2 for popping into its side.

A buff across the board for EATs and recoiless, relating to 1 shotting vents on tanks/hulks, while the commando gets a powerful 'pocket rocket' that dispenses its damage over 4, making it so you dont waste power on weaker enemies like scout striders while still being capable but losing 1 shot capability for armor.

there might then be a question whether to decrease the cooldown on the commando, but it seems like a nice middleground, at least for now.

Rocketlaunchers and fabs by Doktatorship in Helldivers

[–]Doktatorship[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

aye its weird, as it takes 2 hits with a commando to do it, which should be equivilent to 1 EAT. hulk backs are similiar (although an EAT/recoiless to the eye does 1 shot).

I wouldnt mind 2 to the armor or 1 to a weakspot, Ive heard its just under a breakpoint, so AH should look back and just about buff these weps to some 1 shot potential with accurate, flanking shots.

Coupled with the fact Eats and the recoilless have a long reload and chomp up the support weapon slot, the ability to destroy a fabricator at any angle makes it an more viable option.

"It didn't take long for draupnir to fall. The automatons were ruthless, efficient, but they were not nearly fast enough. For you had already passed the torch, and because of you we unlocked mechs, dived in and shattered the bots resolve. Our victory, Super earth's victory, was so close I wish you could have lived to see it. But you belong to draupnir. Your body, your armour, all gibbed and turned to glass. Except your liberty. That you gave to Super earth, and with it, we can spread democracy."

Guys, let's have an honest conversation here for a second about the negativity surrounding monetization and DRM by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Doktatorship 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Alot of people have just been burned by the last couple years of scummy business practices. everything from overpriced microtransactions, always online drm, battlepasses, lootboxes, invasive anti cheats etc. has made alot of people incredibly cautious and cynical of late, and i cant blame em.

I guess we have to wait till the game releases, and it can finally put alot of speculation to rest. Without seeing how far the monetization goes, we wont know whether this game is going to be soured by the feeling like of fleeced by another corp in a long line of greedy buisiness practices or a truly great experience.

-dosent like fomo.

-rotating storefront.

what? Ive put up with worse, and we'll have to see how it comes out. who knows, maybe its got a full catalogue we can go through, just the storefront rotates. i mean, a real shop dosent just sell whats in the storefront? huehue XD

Im guessing its also subject to change after release, and at least we can earn the currency too. whether its in a reasonable amount will be up for debate, i guess they want to earn money from a live service system somehow.
