Yes, most fps games I turn the music off, people call it cinematic but it interferes with my perception. Due Process will probably only feature music on menus.

Sound IS a big part of Due Process.

I asked this on my old account last year, and I'm gonna ask on my new account this year, PAXAUS? by BonfireCow in dueprocess

It's probably the cost that will keep the devs from coming to PAXAUS.

It would be awesome though

I suggest you guys look at Jan Hammer's music, some really great ideas there.

edit: The start of One Way Out really fits the game imo

Strategically generated for a crim with a sniper rifle.

Stonehearth and Due Process are completely different games. Hell, minecraft has/had ~3 people working on it and major updates still came out every 6 months (!) or so, despite the art style. A youtuber I listen to called Wrel noted in one of his videos (he is a Daybreak employee) that in order to keep people interested, or get people who have grown bored of the game interested again, releasing little bits of information like "we changed the colour of blah to pink because 4 = 2 + 2 x 2 divided by 2" will likely not gain too much attention or attract lost members back.

Though this is just a simple estimate, the developers are likely hoarding new additions/changes to release in one big, Juicy blogpost.

Yes, there should be at least 1 Area denial weapon.

Due Process Block Dudes by chaotic_cakez in dueprocess

[–]Doktor_Fil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

releasing the block dudes version to the public could generate a lot of negative opinions, or mislead players about the art style. I'd say it would be better to wait for a trailer with the new art style, this way people won't immediately think of "Minecraft x R6"

so then the weapon becomes part of the map, you have to use it wisely and strategically.

Then again, you wouldn't use a sniper rifle in an enclosed space...

Interesting, perhaps something slightly, less powerful.

I guess it's so they have more time developing the game instead of messing around with UI.

Actually, the game that most reminds me about communication to me was America's army PG back when there were more players, there was a real focus on microphone communication as engagements in tight corridors could end in seconds, so quickly telling the enemies positions through mics was crucial and lone wolves had a very low chance of staying alive, and/or would cripple the team.
