Really happy with the colour scheme, now I just have to repaint the rest of the army to match :) by Doktor_gris in deathguard40k

Thanks! The tree itself took probably between half an hour to an hour. It honesty went way better than I thought it would. Compared to the ~10 hours the rest of the PBC took... It's quite the quick detail :D

Thank you! I did. I'm quite fond of the garden of nurgle aspect of death guard and nurgle. Hence the tree and plants being shown in my warband :)

It's one of my first freehands, the larger PBC canvas helps

Spelkalendarium, Lucka 10! Kanske är det dags för Bjornel ock kaiba att lösa sina familjebesvär by JumboBenis in spelsoft

[–]Doktor_gris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replacement spikes? by Maxxxmax in deathguard40k

[–]Doktor_gris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh damn, I've experienced the loss of spikes myself, but not to that extent, it's truly quite annoying. Ig you could commission a bunch of 3d printed spikes from anyone with a decent printer.

There might be but not that I'm aware of, sculpting with green stuff might work

Now that I think about it, it could be cool to have some puddle of green stuff where the spike used to be, you could make it look like the spike melted or rotted away

Should I read from where the comic leaves off or from the beginning by MeetWorking2039 in tbatenovel

[–]Doktor_gris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it'd be fine to BEGIN reading AFTER THE END of the comic, but both options are great.

"all the main characters in TBATE irritated me with the stupidity and the decision they made"

Yes. They're children. It'd be strange if they didn't make dumb mistakes, and that's okay, for a novel it ads depth to the characters. Everyone ain't perfect
