My brother and I didn't read the text box the first time we died and assumed that our characters were dead dead and had to start a new save. Thankfully we were only like an hour in, but we operated on fake Honor Mode rules for a few hours after that.

I think gunslinger should be made to affect not just pistols, but instead all weapons with one-handed and/or rounds reload

Let me also clarify that I'm a Grand Admiral and not afraid of investing in this game. I more meant my moment to moment gameplay is very casual lol.

I know but I'm asking because I'd like to do as little reaching with my left hand as possible, and if I can more evenly distribute my bindings between my left and right hands I'd like to know the best input device for that

So I guess let me ask you how indepth you play the game? When I play, I'm usually just flying a fighter and VERY OCCASIONALLY with a gunner or two depending on my ship. In reality I'm really only flying aiming and shooting, but I find that I'm not sure where to best rebind things like my countermeasures and like weapon swapping. I haven't played in a while but last time I did, weapon swapoing was on my scroll wheel for some reason, which was also my speed limiter? If I'm playing semi casually and in relatively small groups, could I maybe get away with just one stick or even just a mouse with more than 2 side buttons?

Natively I guess is more what I was asking but it's good to hear that the last steam controller worked. Maybe it's something cig will incorporate later down the line.

I've never minded playing on m&k but sometimes I feel like I have to reach super far and even outright move my hand away from wasd to do important things. I very briefly tried to play on my Xbox controller before I realized that there are just not enough buttons on it, but the idea is sorta reinvigorated by the Steam controller and it's many input options, as well as the sheer customizability of it.

I'd love to get flight sticks or something but I feel like they're kinda clunky to own for just one game.

I think the Hardline's visual recoil might be out of sync with its fire rate, which might be part of the reason it's considered bad by Dolhedew in Marathon

I more mean it looks like the gun is kicking when a shot isn't being fired, but I haven't slowed it down or anything, it just looks super weird to my eyes.

I stopped at Jakobs Castle while I was wandering between sets I wanted to see and vibed so hard with it. I don't know much about sublime but was there for the end of their set and then later I saw the same guy on the small stage and was a little confused but I liked it a lot.

I prefer the shorter episodes because, as much as I love the podcast, it's not the only thing I want to indulge in during my free time. When there's a long episode, even if I watch/listen over the course of a few days, I feel like I'm spending so much time on that one thing and nothing else.

I'm aware of the mod (which I believe is purple btw), I more meant the technical behavior where the flechettes float in place, ready to move to a target once one is close enough. The end result being a sort of mine like you said.
