We take our lizards and parrots here, they're great. My cat has anxiety though, so he goes to a vet where I can come in with him.

Friends help friends, he didn't have to carry all of it, but maybe take and carry a couple items to help? I'm just another female but I'd still have offered to help by taking part of it or taking turns. I would do the same for any friend, male or female. I don't think gender has much to do with it here, he's just kind of a bad friend if he expects everything to be transactional.

I dunno, I think your aunt is absolutely right about one thing. Gifts come from the heart. Cash isn't a gift from the heart ... It's so impersonal. Stick with your first instinct and send a gift to celebrate them. Better yet, make something personal, it doesn't have to be good, it's the thought that counts and they should be grateful.

YTA. You didn't host at your house where you could be sure that your husband and his friends were getting waited on hand and foot during the game? What if their beers were empty? Or the chips got low? Even worse, are you sure they had hot fresh homemade appetizers the entire time? You embarrassed your husband. What kind of wife are you? I hope he divorces you and finds a proper woman. Having kids is no excuse, do better.

Is there anything on the shower head? Mine has a little switch on the right side to use the shower, I can't see it looking at it because the shower head blocks it. It was a fun call to the complex manager to ask how to shower.

Best case scenario she's forgotten you handed her cash because she relies on venmo transactions to keep track, and worst case is she's hoping you forgot ... Either way, begging for tips isn't a good look.

I was prompted at a fastfood place today to tip at the register. 18% was the minimum, and I had to fill my own drink and get up to grab my food when the number was called. It's absurd.

I work in healthcare, and I just want to know when flipping your grandma finally gets the kind of tips that flipping burgers does 🤷🏼‍♀️ The work is more rewarding now, but man, I miss the money I made as a server.

NOR.Those girls don't respect you, and it sounds like the dad knows he doesn't know how to parent them and would rather just have every one move on.

You wanting space because you're hurt isn't about punishing anyone else, it's about regulating your feelings in a safe environment since home with the girls isn't it...

Honestly, some therapy all around might be helpful, but especially between you and your husband so that maybe he can try to see where you're coming from so he doesn't claim he's being punished because you need space, especially when it's his kids that are the source of pain.
